“I cannot recommend Roma’s Italian Kitchen enough! My only regret is that I ordered only one thing to-go. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is great, and you feel like you are back in a small piece of Europe. The owner Lucian was very hospitable and generous. I called in an order of Mititei to-go, and they were delicious! I cannot wait to go back and try their Sarmale, Schnitzel, and the pizza & pasta! I do not live very close, but Roma’s Italian Kitchen is definitely worth the drive, you won’t regret it. Va multumesc mult!“

My turkey sandwich delicious. But… I love good onion rings & was so looking forward to them but they were not good at all! Greasy & chewy, they tasted like they were pre breaded. “This is our new favorite Italian restaurant. It's a gem in West Plano. There is plenty of free parking right out front, in a lovely area. The interior of the restaurant is clean, stylish, bright, and cheery. We had superb service from the moment we entered the restaurant. We started with wine from a very good wine list, and the warm, freshly baked bread, of course. The shrimp scampi was excellent, featuring large, perfectly cooked shrimp in a delicious garlic and butter sauce, accompanied by garlic-toasted bread. The veal Marsala was top-notch, with a generous portion and great flavor. Perhaps the best marsala I've had. The Italian creme cake was a great way to finish the meal. Highly recommended!“

“I have been a long time customer of Cafe Max when they were located in Addison back in the 90’s.

Recently, I visited their Plano location in hope A) they remained open and B) they had pasta and chicken mixture available. I arrived at 2:44PM a few minutes before closing at 3PM. When I entered, I wasn’t greeted immediately but instead given a stare-down of “ugh”. I dismissed the person with their sassy dismay as the gentleman with a kind notation, carrying the chicken mixture expressed “hi, how can I help you?” I stated, I’m sorry to place an order as you’re beginning to close shop. The gent said it’s okay. Yet when he looked at the other worker, their face expressed much less of not wanting to be there. It was an awkward moment for me and the gentleman. After I placed my order (duo plate); pasta, chicken mixture and a turkey sandwich to-go, the situation became uncomfortable. Once the gentleman closed the duo plate and handed the turkey sandwich to the other worker, who handed me the bag, I said with a smile, thank you! Their body language and no smile expressed a light muffled some-what of “yah” left me feeling sad for the individual. If they dislike their job, find another one. Or at least disguise your face expressions to Cafe Max customers. I believe when you receive poor customer service, your meal or service rendered will be much less than a happy experience. That was mine, my meal was bland because of the poor customer service experience.

No matter what I’ll continue my visits with Cafe Max but at the Richardson location where they greet you loudly and with a warm energetic smile, “Hi, how can we help you,” “have a nice day!” Everyone has a bad day or another, sometimes a contagious smile can redeem themselves and make others feel better! I give thanks to the gentleman that served me!“

Dalton is a really great worker, he cleans after hours, the food is amazing, and he also makes sure all of our needs are fulfilled. This location has been top tier every time we visit for lunch which is usually packed but they seem to be quick on their toes and wait times for our food has never been a problem. Not to mention we have never been disappoint with the freshness of the food.“

“I always loved this place but it's far from my home so I stopped by when I was in the area. The experience was great! I ordered on the kiosk but couldn't find the new drinks on the menu so I ordered a tea. I asked the lady at the counter if I can just replace the drink and I would gladly pay the difference. The believe the young lady that was the manager, just replaced it without any issue. These are the little things that make a difference to me. “My wife and I wanted to go out to eat on our wedding anniversary and I picked olive garden since the last time we were there it was great. I really do not eat out much I hate to pay so much more when I can make it better at home. Mike the lunch manager was great, the food was really good! The eggplant parmigiana was very good.
