Shanghainese Restaurants in Plano, TX

“This place has amazing xiao long baos, filled with soup. The waiter was so nice, accidentally dropped my jacket and she picked it up for me, they constantly checked up on our waters and napkins and accommodated us accordingly. The building is very cozy coded and inviting. Will be coming again!“

“The food is very good here but they gave us a hard time about getting individual checks. They said to pay the bill in cash and settle up amongst ourselves. That is a big problem when a bunch of friends go out together. Who carries cash around these days.

My friends and I go out every Friday. We will not be visiting this restaurant again as a group. There are too many excellent restaurants in Plano that have no problem with separate checks to put up with this nonsense.

Also, the noise level is excessive if you hope to converse.

I may visit alone because the food is excellent but we will not return as a group.“

“Great options of food near our hotel. The Food Republic is lovely filled with different food stalls (Chinese, Singaporean, Thai, Korean, Japanese, etc) and near a lot of shops. We tried different food shops here when we stayed in TST. It was quite clean and the service was good.“
