Adjusting my review: on June 28th I was finally refunded.
On May 18th we ordered two pretzel twists and a small chicken bites. After waiting about 10 minutes, a carhop approached us and let us know that they were out of both of these items and our order would be cancelled.
Unfortunately, the order was not cancelled and we were charged for food we did not receive. I reached out to customer support a week later after not receiving a refund. I was told the refund would come in 7-10 business days. It’s been longer and that refund still hasn’t come. This is very disappointing as we frequented sonic 2-3 a month on average. Until this is resolved we will not be returning.
If a manager is able to help us out, our order number was 1000255531386. It was a $4.31 order. It should not take a month to resolve this.

We've been sitting waiting for going on 20 minutes and watched other vehicles pull away without being helped. Unlike them, I've already spent my money, so I'm stuck waiting.
This is ridiculous. What happened to Sonic anymore?
I'd ask for my money back, but I worry you'd take it out of the last employee's pocket.

Not sure why I took my daughter to buy a unicorn slush after waiting 16 minutes it looks nothing like the picture not even close. I would not have mind getting this if it would have been in 3 or 4 minutes. Come on Sonic.

I literally just purchased a #3 and my fries and my burger 🍔 were cold, seemed like a cold sandwich. I did not say anything to the guy who brought me my food because he already seemed overwhelmed. I tipped him $7 bucks. Poor guy he looked like he needed help. I work at a clinic a light away. Never been to this Sonic before, but will not be returning. The only thing I’m enjoying now is my Cherry Limeade. That is it! The rest went to the trash. I could not eat it. I spent almost $11 plus a $7 tip.
