Loved the restaurant and the staff was phenomenal. However, the food was okay. We drove over an hour to try it out. My fish was swai. The oxtails were fatty. The red beans and rice were a little dry. I would definitely revisit because the staff was top tier.

I absolutely love this place. Hands down the best food I had in Dallas yet. Them cheesy Grits was my favorite. Them collard green egg rolls were smoking hot and delicious. That catfish was seasoned to perfection.

The entrees and sides were the best Southern food we've had in the Dallas metro area..seriously, southern cooking!! Save room for the cornbread and wonderful desserts.

Great experience overall. Solid food — the mac needed more bake and the ham was just okay. They were out of sweet potato pie, and the pound cake was ehh. But the Kool-Aid was hittin’, and the greens and dressing were great. The Cajun grilled chicken over dirty rice had the perfect spice, and the collard-green egg rolls were to die for. Easy 4.5/5 — definitely coming back.
