Small but nice. Good staff. Decor is in a- perhaps slightly dated but- quite tasteful style and the cleanliness is immaculate.
They did have an issue with the menu board, but it's a delightful wooden board without any digital hyper animatedness and the cashier baker was very patient at explaining prices.
I got a chocolate cookie sandwich. Overall, would recommend.

Did ownership/management change? This place used to be my go-to bakery for cookies. They were expensive compared to other local places ($3 for a single chocolate chip cookie), but I didn’t mind paying because the quality was consistent and they were the best cookies in DFW.
Recently ordered the same chocolate chip and was disappointed to see that the price for a single cookie got bumped up to $3.50. I could maybe justify that if the quality was the same, but this cookie literally had only 2 tiny pieces of chocolate in it. I was questioning if I got handed the wrong thing because how do you make a chocolate chip cookie without chocolate???
At this point I might as well go to Tiff’s Treats, at least their chocolate chip cookies actually have chocolate chips.

We stopped in and picked up a blueberry cupcake, a brownie with chocolate icing, a sugar cookie and a brownie without icing.
The cupcake was good, the vanilla cake wasn’t as moist as I prefer, but was good. The icing was fantastic.
Both brownies were very good. The icing was similar to what you’d get on a Texas sheet cake.
The sugar cookie was okay, but it’s a sugar cookie.
Definitely recommend any treats from here.

Run don’t walk! I’ve seen Sugar Ray’s Bakery around for over 10 years, and I finally had the chance to try a couple of their cupcakes—amazing! I want to thank Sugar Ray’s for the opportunity to taste them after coming across the cupcakes left out on Saturday. I’m now a loyal patron of Sugar Ray’s! #bestcupcakesEver
I ordered three dozen cupcakes this past Saturday when I was visiting my family in Texas. I asked for the cupcakes to be decorated with three different colors of piping: two shades of green and one light shade of brown. I emailed and then ordered over the phone where there was another consult to confirm my choices. Instead what I picked up Saturday was was not what I asked for but merely someone just copying, verbatim, the inspiration photos. The color palette I was given included white, which I did not ask for, and some cupcakes were decorated with just one color of white piping, not the three that I asked for or even the correct color. Unfortunately, it’s not like I could have them redone on the spot so I took them. Why did I express what I wanted twice just for it to be ignored by the bakery?
