we ordered two different bases and got the non spicy and regular mixed, but the non spicy (tomato) honestly really overpowered the other flavors and it just tasted like the whole broth was the non spicy, i didnt taste any of the sauerkraut in it and that was disappointing

Just had my first visit to Sichuan Folk and I'm already hooked!
I was craving fish but didn't want the usual deep-fried stuff. Ordering over the phone was a bit confusing, so I just drove down to order takeout in person. Got the Sliced Fish Fillet with Diced Chili Pepper, Basil Fish Fillet, and Beef Fried Rice.
The fried rice and basil fish were perfection! The other fish dish was way too spicy for me, but that's totally on me and my heat tolerance—not the restaurant's fault. The portions are super generous too, which is always a plus.
Overall, this place is a winner. Already planning my next visit!“

“There's a lot going on. Couldn't enjoy spicey Thai pot. It was too spicy for me. I eat spicey food. So if an Asian or African says it's not Spicey. Don't get it. Great atmosphere.. huge selection. There hour 30 time limit. Parking is plenty. Patient and curtious staff. Not over priced. We arrived at 4. After 6 it got crowded. Kbbq could use more variety. ButI'm guessing the hot pot is the star of the show and it was!“

“This is hands down some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in my entire life, and I don’t say that lightly. The food is always hot, fresh, and ready fast every single time we come in. It’s a family-owned business, which makes it even better knowing you’re supporting a local family but even without that, the quality of the food is absolutely phenomenal.

You don’t need to dress fancy or make it a whole thing—this place has such a comfortable, chill, homey feel. Me, my fiancé, and my sister have been coming here once or twice a week for months, and somehow it never misses. Ever. Everything tastes amazing every single time without fail, which is rare. And on top of that, it is generally speaking a very affordable place.

“i just went to get to-go at TKS and it was also the very first time eating food from there. service was great, they spoke mandarin and was super polite and quick at the cashier. order dim sum and salt and pepper fried tofu that my wife loves. got home and ate the food and the quality of the dim sum were good and the tofu was great! this will be a go-to spot from now on and it's dangerous that it is located less than 5 minutes from my house. i foresee dim sum on the regular from here instead of driving all the way to Richardson for Golden Joy. 2 thumbs up. highly recommended to dim sum lovers and lovers of awesome chinese foood.“

“These people really get it when it comes to serving Szechuan style food to round eyes. My wife and I hit this place most Sundays after church and it remains a treat. I like the tendons. I like the tripe. I like the tongue. Almost everything they've got is top shelf and well made and actually has some Szechuan seasoning which is what I'm looking for. Don't miss the dumplings either. They have two kinds and they're both killer... Killer staph is attentive but unobtrusive. If you're hankering for some Szechuan food at lunch or dinner, this is your new go-to... 100% worth a shot.“

“This has been a place for family or friends gathering when we are carving for traditional Chinese food. Good portions with very reasonable price. Dishes are delicious, even simple ones like sautéed green beans and eggplant. Pretty much we order more than we can eat so that we can box leftovers to enjoy later. Services are as good as expected as a comfortable food place, appreciate that they are happy to recommend.“

“I work here.i am treated well at every store & restaurant. With the exception of Eatzi's. I was treated very poor by the general manager. I I purchased a pre-made sandwich & requested extra lettuce & tomatoes normally because I am a regular & considered a valued guest lettu& tomatoes were offered complimentary. But, the general manager do not see me as a valued guest. He insisted I pay for extra lettuce & tomatoes. I felt insulted & disrespected by his condescending tone. “We had an amazing meal from start to finish. The food was incredibly well prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. What really stood out was the service. Wen, our server took the time to explain the dishes and gave great advice on how to enjoy our meal for the best possible experience before we even took the first bite. That extra attention made a big difference.
