we ordered two different bases and got the non spicy and regular mixed, but the non spicy (tomato) honestly really overpowered the other flavors and it just tasted like the whole broth was the non spicy, i didnt taste any of the sauerkraut in it and that was disappointing

Just had my first visit to Sichuan Folk and I'm already hooked!
I was craving fish but didn't want the usual deep-fried stuff. Ordering over the phone was a bit confusing, so I just drove down to order takeout in person. Got the Sliced Fish Fillet with Diced Chili Pepper, Basil Fish Fillet, and Beef Fried Rice.
The fried rice and basil fish were perfection! The other fish dish was way too spicy for me, but that's totally on me and my heat tolerance—not the restaurant's fault. The portions are super generous too, which is always a plus.

“With the new lunch special price, this place is the best Chinese style hotpot for lunch. They have better quality meats than the same price range competitor. They also have dried chili powder mixed, which is my favorite condiment for dipping.“

“This is the go-to place for my wife and I when we want some spicy Szechuan. Granted we're round eyes but we eat a lot of Szechuan food and this is some of the best we've had in North Texas. The staff is excellent. The menu is widespread and The taste is fantastic. Fairly priced and wonderfully cooked.“

“Nice authentic Chinese restaurant. All the dishes that we ordered were tasty and well cooked enough for us to want to come back.

I wanted to note that I'm impressed that the green beans were crunchy and flavorful, since most restaurants I've been to either overcook or undercook the green beans, ruining their texture. But to be fair green beans are maybe the hardest vegetable to get right.

The staff were accommodating for our requests, like asking for the fried rice to be spicy.“

“Food is amazing...true authentic Sichuan Chinese food! If your looking for Chinese American food..this isn't the place. The menu has many foods that would scare most timid American eaters. I really enjoyed the mapo tofu..my party had fish with cabbage, sautéed greens, and beef with stir fried veggies...all were awesome.
The service was a bit curt but everything was brought fairly quickly and hot. The water I was served was really MEH....tepid and no ice.
All in all everything was tasty and we were well taken care of!

“Made a quick stop for take out. Quick service and the food was still piping hot when we got it home. We ordered shrimp fried rice, chicken with rice noodles, crab rangoons, lemon chicken and beef with broccoli. The portions were huge and Eve r gone thoroughly enjoyed their dinner.“

“I work here.i am treated well at every store & restaurant. With the exception of Eatzi's. I was treated very poor by the general manager. I I purchased a pre-made sandwich & requested extra lettuce & tomatoes normally because I am a regular & considered a valued guest lettu& tomatoes were offered complimentary. But, the general manager do not see me as a valued guest. He insisted I pay for extra lettuce & tomatoes. I felt insulted & disrespected by his condescending tone.
