The ikura (salmon eggs) tasted funky, almost like straight fish oil. I got a crayfish in the volcano roll that tasted like it had gone bad. Spit it out. The sushi rolls themselves were pretty tasty. We went in pretty early, so I guess some ingredients might have been left over from the day before. If you want their all you can eat, you might as well go to an actual buffet with more options and fresher ingredients. The staff were really nice though, so I hate to bash on their food.
Thanks chef for the great experience, food was super tasty, we really have the best experience ever in sushi and sashimi 😍
Pretty fun spot not very many people so its kinda qieut
Let me start off saying today was a great day for blue fish with such business they had going on . We had a great sushi chef named Santiago take out order and serve us and help us with whatever we needed and we didn’t mind that they were short staffed because they were working as a great team to make their customers happy. Thanks to Chef Santiago we had a great experience and i hope this wonderful gentleman gets taken care of for being such a great help. We’ll definitely be going back and bringing family very soon thanks again Blue team and Chef Santiago!
Sushi is over priced. Only 1 of the 3 specialty rolls we ordered had flavor. The menu doesn’t have prices listed so it was very disappointing to have a bill of $100 for something that wasn’t fully enjoyed or even worth that cost.
Totally messed up our Uber delivery and my husband didn’t get dinner. They said my order was unclear about his allergies so they assumed wrong and went with it instead of calling to ask. NO LONGER BLUE FISH.

The food was good. However the salmon didn't seem to be super fresh but still good. The ambiance of the restaurant was really nice. Service was okay as well.

We went to watch the Cowboy game in the bar. We asked to turn the sound on so we could hear the game. The manager said that he didn't know how. We have great sushi and listened to super loud disco music. I took a star away!

The food was delicious!! Presentation beautiful. The waiter was very nice and attentive and enjoyed talking with us. The owner came to our table and sang happy birthday and prepared a beautiful fried ice cream dish! Beautiful inside.

Blue Fish Japanese Restaurant in Plano delivers a memorable dining experience, particularly with its salmon sashimi and noodle dishes. The salmon sashimi was outstanding—each slice was fresh and impeccably prepared, boasting a rich, buttery texture that practically melted in my mouth. The subtle flavor of the fish paired perfectly with a hint of wasabi and soy sauce, making it a delightful start to the meal.
The noodles were equally impressive, served in a savory broth that had depth and warmth. They were cooked to perfection, providing a satisfying chewiness that complemented the tender meat and fresh vegetables in the bowl.
