We celebrated my son’s 20th birthday at Union Bear in Plano, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish! We had a party of 14 and the service was outstanding, and the turnout for his birthday dinner couldn’t have been better!

Our waiter, Braden, was hands-down the BEST waiter ever! Even though the restaurant was packed, you’d never know it by the way he took care of us. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was perfect for our celebration. Braden truly went above and beyond, and it made such a huge difference in the night.

The general manager, Shawn, was equally amazing. He personally came to our table to check in and make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it, which shows the kind of exceptional customer service Union Bear is known for.

The ambience outside was absolutely stunning. It was 90° out, but you couldn’t tell because the patio is filled with fans—it was actually chilly out there when I expected it to be hot! The cool breeze, combined with the beautiful vibe of the patio, made the evening even more special.

I also want to give recognition to the busboys and the host. Every single person in that establishment gets FIVE stars from me—if I could give them 100 stars, I would!

And I have to mention the food: I had the ribeye taco board and oh my goodness… it was the most amazing meal ever! The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and packed with flavor.

Union Bear made my son’s 20th birthday unforgettable. Fantastic food, top-notch service, a beautiful atmosphere, and a team that truly cares about their guests. I can’t recommend them enough!

So today I went to eat at a place called Union Bear in Plano, Texas. Let me tell you — it was my first time going, and I’m glad I finally did. I’ve seen the area before, but I’d never actually stopped in. Today was the day, and it didn’t disappoint.

Our server, Haley Eisenhower (don’t forget the Eisenhower -her words!), was absolutely amazing. Warm welcome, friendly, beautiful smile, and great recommendations. She wasn’t overbearing, but made sure we were taken care of the whole time. Super attentive, just top-notch service. If you visit, do yourself a favor and ask for Haley she’s the real deal.

We started with the Firecracker Shrimp (I think that’s what it was called) hands down, the best thing I ate. Off the chain!
Then we had the Korean BBQ wings, another great choice full of flavor.
We also tried the steak plate tacos they were okay, not really my thing with the sauces, but not bad either.

The atmosphere was great. You could tell it’s a popular spot packed, but still easy to walk around. The place looked clean, and everything felt welcoming. Only small thing was the table felt a little tight, but that’s not a dealbreaker at all.

Just wanted to take a minute to give this place a proper 5-star shoutout. Great food, great vibes, exceptional service. I’ll definitely be back.

We had a group of 14 people last night — everything, particularly our server Rhett, was simply OUTSTANDING!

I’m not sure what all the folks in our group ordered, but I had the Roasted Poblano Queso and the Honey Pig Flatbread, both were fabulous.

Serving and taking care of a group this size is always a challenge, and Rhett handled everything wonderfully.

We were at on outdoor table on a pretty hot day (evening) and the fans and such kept us very comfortable.

Highly recommended, particularly for a large group! Can’t wait to go back!

Well if you get table before 6pm be prepared to get kicked off your table. Came with coworkers spending and buying drinks until hostess came by and said we had to leave because it was after six even though we were buying drinks and eating.

First timer...definitely recommend solo or family. I went around lunchtime and checked out the Union Bear Brewing Co...I'd been craving some really good cod fish and glad I decided to ck this place out! It definitely met my expectations and my server Hannah was awesome with recommendations and attentiveness! I can't wait to return for Happy Hour ☺️

Great beer selection and the ambience is great. It serves both type of people indoor with music out door with views. Food is okay but the drinks are great. Can’t complain anything for a Friday night. Make sure you have sometime to spend here, the outdoor walk is great after few drinks. Day well spent

I have never had a bad experience at Union Bear! Tonight was especially great!! Our waitress Haley was so diligent about checking on us frequently and the place was packed so she was very busy! Haley also made great food and drink recommendations. Shawn, the manager is also outstanding! Very polite and funny!

This is such a fun place.

Great beer, amazing food, and good service. The atmosphere is also fun and a great place to meet friends have a cold one and catch up.

Everybody I know enjoy this place. I’ve never heard a single bad thing about it. It’s nice about this as you can always message somebody and ask if they wanna meet here and they’ll say yes.
