The food lacked seasoning and when I asked for Parmesan cheese to help spruce up my pasta I was surprised when I got my receipt to find out I was charged to sprinkle the cheese over the unseasoned pasta! Not only was the food nasty the service wasn’t so great either we had to constantly track down our waiter by asking other servers to get her. This is not a true seafood place being in from Louisiana and this just wasn’t it!
Happy hour raw oysters 330-530pm are only $1 !! They have this home cured salmon burrata which was exceptional and one of the most fresh and amazing things I have ever had in Dallas. Also, you cannot go wrong with a glass of chardonnay during happy hour to go along with all this.
I was excited to have fried clams - the reviews were good. We wanted to like the restaurant. We like the downtown Plano location. It’s decorated pretty well, nice vibe, but noisy. It was hard to have a conversation. The bar was hopping. Folks seemed to be enjoying their drinks.
We ordered a shrimp cocktail. It was 5 grilled shrimp. Tasty and spicy sauce.
We also ordered “all clams” crispy creel. It was mostly breading and fried peppers. I would not recommend this dish. I sent it back and the manager brought it right back, saying the dish was correct. It is nothing like fried clams I’ve had in the northeast. I would not recommend this dish unless you want crispy breading.
Hubby ordered New Zealand King Salmon. It was a little overcooked, and was ok. Nothing to write home about and not what we expected for $44 fresh fish special at a restaurant specializing in seafood.
I was not feeling it after the fried clams were just fried breading and ordered a side Caesar salad to soak up some of the oil from the fried breading. The Caesar had little dressing, no visible Parmesan and none of the “umami” caesar taste that’s traditional in a Caesar salad. I would not recommend.
Our server just shrugged off our disappointment and did nothing to make things right with us. She sort of rushed us out the door.
We would not recommend this restaurant unless you are looking for a place to have cocktails. Disappointing. We won’t be back. There are much better seafood restaurants in DFW.
Food was amazing
Service was extremely slow
After ordering a Caesar salad and a half dozen of fire roasted clams you think they would get to the table within 30 minutes but my beer got there first and all we really wanted was food service was ridiculous because most of these places keep hiring unexperienced servers that don't know how expectations should be met and it's really disgusting people come in with their expectation and if you're coming in to eat dinner the last thing you need to do is be told how to order your food by a server we need your drinks first we need your app charger second but yet when we're really just coming there to eat and have a drink as a secondary I don't even told how how to order my meal really you know what I mean I needed my food first I need food and then I want to drink I don't know just tacky unexperienced server sweet but unexperienced Will not go back again Rather go to Urban crust always good there!! The owners are amazing they have good quality food good quality ingredients good quality menus items and no other doing but they're one week link might be servers.. lack of skills lack of knowledge I don't know whatever
The best oysters out there, always fresh & so clean.
Tonight we did their Italian wine & food parings dinner.
Every single course so well pared.
Our regular for fresh seafood!
Service was top notch and food was excellent. Price point was a little higher than preferred, but we were celebrating a birthday. Overall EXCELLENT choice!
Lobster roll and Mussels were amazing! Service quality was truly exceptional, I can't wait to come back!

This was my first time eating here, and it won't be my last. I had the red fish with market vegetables, and it was amazing! I usually don't like steamed vegetables, but the broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots were divine! This was my first time having red fish, and I loved it. I had the carrot cake for dessert, and it was just as divine. I couldn't eat it all, so of course, I had to bring the rest home. My server was wonderful in that he helped me make great choices. Oh, I also had a crab cake for starters. It was deliciously amazing as well. I will definitely be going back to Urban Seafood!

We weren’t happy with any of the food. It was fishy in a bad way. French fries cooked in fish grease. Brussel sprouts not seasoned well.
Lobster Mac basically cheese.

Any time my husband and I want seafood, this is the only place we’ll consider. We’ve consistently had an excellent meal and excellent service every single time. Most recently, Kim was fantastic! She made excellent recommendations, super friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!!
