Cafe Gecko Eastside - Downtown Plano is an awesome place with a great tv set up for games. The staff remembers your name, giving that at home feeling, and are always so welcoming. The regulars are welcoming and friendly, creating a real sense of community. The food is better than normal bar food, with everything food wise so far being amazing. The quality and flavors are impressive. Specific meals include the Chicken Tortilla Soup, hands down the best in Dallas, the stuffed Jalapenos, Blackened chicken nachos, and pineapple shrimp pizza. Half price apps are available every day after 11 pm. The service is awesome, and the food tastes great. It is a great hang out spot for yourself or with friends for a late night meal and drink.
