The food was not good. Our taco shells tasted old and the chicken in my taquito was very dry. The service was average. The young lady that took our order was not rude but she wasn't pleasant either. We just moved into the area and this was our first time at Valarie's.

Huge shredded steak chimichanga lightly fried with refried beans and rice. Plenty to take home. Self-service insanely hot salsa bar and so tasty. Display case of mouth watering desserts at the register, but who's got room?

As a San Diego native who recently moved to Dallas, this is the BEST carne asada burrito I’ve had here! It takes just like home. No Tex Mex stuff or steak trying to pass as carne asada, but well seasoned marinated carne asada here at this place!
The rolled tacos are a little inconsistent. Sometimes they are good and other times they are too hard.
I do love their churros and agua fresca, though!
