Had a Dr visit in the area so we decided to go ahead and try them out for lunch. I've been here once but it's been a long time.

The service was great and the food also was awesome. I got the chicken pot pie and my wife got chicken and waffles.

I definitely recommend if your wanting some good chicken.

Went to this place right around peak brunch time and it was a pleasant visit. Nothing necessarily blew me away with me this visit but nothing disappointed me either. Beer was cold & fresh, mimosas were solid and tasty. Ordered the biscuits as an “appetizer” and they were served with honey butter, and I believe, peach flavored jam (seasonal jam). Biscuits appeared dry but their size was commendable. Depending on how many are in your party, you could probably settle with just one or two of these & break them into pieces to serve as just a small appetizer for you & the table. For my main course, I went with the Mother Clucker & their side of three cheese Mac. I chose the bacon Mother Clucker and added a fried chicken breast ($6 extra). The sandwich was actually pleasing and flavorful, with a solid dose of seasoning & powerful flavor from the cheese. I was initially unimpressed with the Mac but as I continued to dig in I found it sufficient and satisfying. I love a good bowl of Mac & cheese & can easily be let down by it if it is not what I expect. This batch appeared to be more watery than creamy (which is what I prefer). Service was commendable and polite; as well as the overall restaurant atmosphere being pleasant and inviting.

Perhaps there are better brunch spots to go to in the area or metroplex but Whistle should not be completely abandoned. It offers a warm and satisfying experience that ultimately makes your visiting worthwhile.

Unfortunately, our visit to Whistle Britches was a complete letdown. It started with the drinks, which took an unusually long time to arrive—and when they finally did, they were poorly mixed and clearly made by someone inexperienced behind the bar.

Things only got worse with the food. Our order was delayed due to a kitchen mistake, and when the food finally came out, it was wrong. They corrected it, but by then the fries were cold. One person at our table received fries that were not just cold—they were soggy and inedible.

The service throughout was slow and disorganized. No one seemed particularly concerned with the constant missteps. Between the delayed drinks, the incorrect food, and the awful fries, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in a long time.

Highly do not recommend!!!

My sandwich I forgot the name was really good and the crisp of the breaded chicken was delicious l, everything was. I enjoyed of how much apples they gave my daughter for her kids meal. The waitress was very patient and nice he did take a little while to get my check but otherwise his service was beyond appreciated.

Sorry to say, I will not be returning to this restaurant. Our waitress was kind and attentive enough, but that is where the positives ended. The restaurant smelled like a toilet as soon as I walked in, and the smell did not go away. I should’ve left but was meeting a group so couldn’t really leave. The food came out hot and the portions were large, but tasted just blah. I ordered chicken and waffles, and it tasted like it could’ve been from Waffle House, no actually theirs is better. And for $19, that’s insane.

A stylish restaurant in Willow Bend mall with indoor and outdoor seating. It has a full bar with stools and serves cocktails, mocktails, beer, and wine, with happy hour specials daily from 2-6 pm. The margaritas were great, but the food was average. I enjoyed the appetizers, especially the corn fritters, more than the meatloaf. My friend liked the chicken pot pie.

The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff.

Parking was easy since the mall is mostly empty.

Pricing: Moderate, with happy hour deals on drinks and appetizers making it a great value.

The quality of ingredients just feels super low. The lettuce was warm, chicken had a ton of fat, tomatoes weren’t fully ripe. Everything lacked the freshness and flavor I’d expect from a $20 salad.

In the top two fried chickens I've ever had in my 60 years on this Earth. Very very good super juicy white meat. Don't miss it it's worth it. Plus the honey that goes with the biscuit is amazing
