Whistle Britches - Willow Bend never disappoints! The pot pie was golden and flaky with a fresh, crisp salad on the side, pure comfort food. The Reuben was packed with flavor, with perfectly toasted rye and tender corned beef. Great food, great presentation, highly recommend!

Nothing like the Southlake location! The southlake location is on point… but here, Not one person speaks English as thier first language . The server didn’t understand us , got our order wrong. Worst of all the biscuits and the overall food quality was poor at best… would never return!

This place was just awesome. Had heard about it from friends and colleagues but needed to try it firsthand and it was great!!

Would have given zero start if it’s an option. Our experience was severely disappointing. We ordered the bone-in chicken entrée ($19), which arrived undercooked with visible pink flesh and blood. Although the manager provided a replacement, the second attempt was identically raw. To make matters worse, the manager only offered a $4 discount off our bill for this significant health hazard and inconvenience. We will not be returning and advise others to avoid this dish and this restaurant.

This was my second visit to Whistle Britches Plano. The first time was just okay, but today was a fiasco. We called earlier in the week to confirm a birthday party for 30+ guests and were told it was fine—no mention of conditions. Upon arrival, the manager demanded a $1500 credit hold and that the entire bill be on one check, which had never been communicated. While we’re fine with such policies when stated upfront (like Dee Lincoln Prime where we spent $1k last month) lack of transparency and inflexibility today was unacceptable. We left and were warmly welcomed by Whiskey Cake Plano instead, they gladly allowed separate tickets. Whistle Britches lost out on nearly $2,000 today—and our future business.

Whistle Britches is always good. However, I think it's time for a menu update.

The chicken is great! I was pretty underwhelmed with the cole slaw and buffalo cauliflower. Our server was doing double duty as the bartender, so the service was nothing more than take our order and bring our ticket.

Neat little restaurant close to what can loosely be called a mall. Atmosphere is rather nice since it has this country farm esthetic. Service is friendly although they did speak too quietly. And the food was very delicious with the shoe string fries being very addictive and the chicken tenders being hot, crispy, juicy, and fresh. The only cons I have are the Cajun fries are too strong and the prices are too high. But overall, I really liked this place. Definitely recommend to those living in Plano.

Man, it pains me to write this. WB was one of our favorite restaurants (the other location that closed recently). So we came here on a whim. Service was almost non-existing- had to ask twice (sat for 15 min waiting) for a waiter to come by and then saw him once during meal. Never came to fill water, see what else was needed. Couldn’t get the check.
The food has fallen far- the cornbread starter must’ve been frozen and warmed up to serve? It was barely warmer than lukewarm and drier than it used to be. The recipe for grits has changed- they were bland. The Mexican corn side was poor- corn was completely soft and gummy, there was very little of anything to make it Mexican elotes. The sandwiches were pretty good still, which was nice. The chicken seems to be smaller than it used to be, but it was tasty. Hopefully they can step it up and return to what they once were.

We got Buffalo cauliflower, pancake, waffles, garlic fries, regular fries and eggs. My garlic fries and buffalo cauliflower were amazing! Kids loved their pancakes and waffles too. The ambiance was really nice.

Had a Dr visit in the area so we decided to go ahead and try them out for lunch. I've been here once but it's been a long time.

The service was great and the food also was awesome. I got the chicken pot pie and my wife got chicken and waffles.

I definitely recommend if your wanting some good chicken.
