La Consentida Catering, Taquizas & Food Truck

We had this food truck at BMT parade. I will have to say me as well as my family thought their breakfast sandwich (we had the bacon and sausage one) was probably one of if not the best breakfast sandwich we have ever had! So good that I have been on Google trying to find it so we could try to get breakfast again! Haha! I figured if we couldn’t have breakfast the least I could do was write a review! So good!! Very filling and worth the money!

Ellie and her crew from La Consentida catered a party for my neighborhood. The food was AMAZING and the service was OUTSTANDING!!!! We had delicious al pastor and beef quesadillas, I would highly recommend La Consentida!

I was a student at DLI at Lackland AFB and maybe once or twice a month this Foodtruck came for lunch time.I can tell, the food they serve is amazing! Super tasteful mexican food. I loved the Tacos and the Bowl as well as the big variety of sauces.Additionally those people are so friendly! I will miss this foodtruck for sure.

The chicken and steak tacos for the mini taco plate ordered were more tangy than I wanted it be. The citrusy flavor used to spice up the taco overwhelmed the chicken or steak flavor. Sorry but I didn’t like it. I’ve had better ones in the past and this one is a “one hit wonder.”Two stars for great service.

We love Ellie!!! She is so sweet and communicative and personable!!! She and her crew are SO AMAZING!!! She catered our wedding and it was the absolute highlight! Everyone loved the food!!! 10/10!!!

Our business had a grand opening and we called several catering companies, but even though some were helpful, there was something about La Consentida that helped us in making our final decision. She was helpful with sharing ideas and guiding me in what would be a good fit for our small event. I NEVER dealt with a catering company so I was nervous and unsure in so many areas. But she made the experience smooth and I actually felt that she was sincere in her guidance. So I decided on the mini street tacos and bria tacos. With rice, beans, 2 desserts, chips and salsa. With Aguas frescas. And EVERYONE at the grand opening was impressed with the food!! Some even went back for 2nd's!! Our Grand opening was a SUCCESS and I am grateful I had a chance to work with La Consentida. She is a real person with good intentions. She's not trying to get over on you. She sincerely helped me with guidance and made my event a hit!! She even suggested a couple of Grand Opening posters, that she gladly helped me put together. She's humble, helpful and kind. This small business DESERVES all the blessings and opportunities available. Give her a try, you won't be disappointed with the food or service.

Horrible communication tried to book them for and event and they won’t respond till the next day or will ignore you. We eventually made contact and she said we were confirmed for that day and our spot was already saved with them. when we paid the deposit they said that someone else had already inquired about that date and that they would have to get back to us about that day since they already gave the other individual a quote. Eventually we just canceled our booking because of all the frustration. We asked for our for our deposit back and the owner just ignores us. Would not recommend for any catering event extremely unorganized and not customer oriented at all
