The place is a packed and the food takes a little while but for the price it's actually really good. We enjoyed feeding the fish and the view of the water. The foods are good. The service is ok but just takes awhile to arrive even the drinks takes longer than it should have been.

Our server, Vinny, was fantastic! Some drinks came out not tasting the best, but Vinny made sure to get everything corrected and with a smile. He was super attentive and friendly!

Recent Sat eve with fam and friends. We sat at the outside bar but there really was no bar just seats at the counter. Nearly impossible to get service. Server was doing tables, inside bar and service well. Ordered apps one of which was just french fries took 30 mins. We ordered food which only consists of sandwiches and salads. Took well over 45 mins. Place was not busy maybe 50%.
Finally after expressing frustration manager approached and explained they cannot get any help especially in kitchen out there and that it has been a long standing problem. She couldnt do anything about our wait. She said she had already given her notice.
Sandwiches good but very definitely not worth the enormous wait. Clearly this place is on the ropes. Oddly when it was the Gnarly Gar it was always busy and service was good and outdoor bar area was a fun spot. Go figure.

We live about an hour from here. We wanted to go to a place to sit outside and on the lake. The patio is nice. We liked the atmosphere. But, the food took over an hour and there were only 4 groups of people there. It was slow. When we finally got our food, the fries were cold but we didnt care too much, we were just really hungry. I ordered a cheeseburger for my son. I took a bite first and it was absolutely awful. It tasted like rotten meat and smelled awful. We got it taken off the bill and sent it back. The cat fish was extremely fishy. And my other son's chicken was so dry. It was the worst food we have ever had at a restaurant. I have actually never left a review before but we were so grossed out from the food, I had to warn people. We definitely won't be back.

We always have a great time at Captain Pete's. Food is good, I like the bang bang tacos that comes with a small salad. Last time we were there a boat that Flys parked next to our tritoon.

Can't have a much more relaxing spot to have lunch for me anyway if you like the water! Perfect view all the way around of the lake and the vibes of boat slips floating with the wakes. Eating on a large dock is just the best. Yep don't pass that up!!!!!!

Great sport for a brunch / lunch. Highly recommend the bang bang shrimp tacos and their famous key lime pie

Absolutely loved this place! The staff is fantastic—held the doors open for us several times and were incredibly attentive throughout our visit. I have to give a special shout-out to the catfish sandwich—it’s truly to die for. Yes, I fed the catfish by the dock first and then had the catfish sandwich afterward. A little guilty? Maybe. Worth it? Absolutely. One of the best catfish sandwiches I’ve ever had!

Had a wonderful time at Captain Pete’s today for our 55 th Wedding anniversary from Phoenix Az. Zach was an amazing waiter for us! He made our day with his wonderful sense of humor and super service. He treated us to an awesome Carrot cake for our anniversary. The food was fantastic. I had the catfish and it was amazing. Others enjoyed their grilled chicken sandwiches, and shrimp. Fresh cut potatoe fries were great. Thank you to Zach for making our special day truly fun and special.

I asked for a burger rare, which is what I always ask for. I was told they dont do rare, they can make it medium rare. When I got the burger, it was well done.

We were at Captain Pete's a few weekends ago with friends. it has been a while, but we watched the incredible sunset and had the best waitress Angie! Although they were busy Angie was phenomenal!

MY PARTY & I HAD JUST DROVE IN FROM DALLAS AUGUST 21st AROUND 9:15pm. OUR FOOD & SERVER (GUY) WAS SUPERB! I ORDERED THE JERK SPICY CATFISH SANDWICH & IT WAS DELICIOUS! FOR STARTERS WE ORDERED THE BANG BANG SHRIMP & THE CRISPY BABY BACK RIBS! THEY WERE BOTH WONDERFUL! TO TOP IT ALL OFF OUR SERVER GUY COULDNT HAVE BEEN ANY BETTER! HE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE, SINCERELY NICE & SUCH A GREAT SERVER! I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE & WILL BE BACK!!
