The coffees had great flavor. The key lime pie crust was a bit crumbly and the carrot cake was a bit dry.

We will definitely be back to try other items on their vast menu.”

“This is my favorite spot in Denton whenever I’m craving a poke bowl! Their Build Your Own Poke Bowl is my go-to – I usually go with ahi tuna and sometimes add spicy tuna or tempura shrimp as a second protein, then load up on all the fresh toppings. Their combination fried rice is also a solid pick if you’re looking for something extra filling.

Everything’s always fresh, and you can add tons of toppings (avocado and cream cheese cost extra, but most toppings are included). My favorite sauce mix is the spicy mayo and ponzu. Plus, they always throw a little treat in the to-go bag, like Starburst, which I think is a great touch.

During Lent, especially on Fridays, it can get pretty packed, but most of the year it’s a nice, quiet spot for lunch. Parking at lunchtime can be a bit tricky, though – I’ve sometimes had to park by McAlister's or the Armed Forces Career Center and walk over, or drive around until a spot opens up. I usually order online, and while I wish they had an app to make it even easier, their service is impressively fast. I can place an order when I leave work, and by the time I get there – about 10 minutes later – it’s ready to go.”

Mom had a breakfast burrito and ate every last bit! haha. we also had coffee, a cappuccino and a mocha, delicious. service was good, restaurant was clean. I liked the spoon wall, #spooniewarrior. “Stopped right before closing for my last minute birthday dinner - traffic kept us from our original plans and I’m so glad! The brisket was maybe the BEST I’ve ever had. Melt in your mouth tender, great seasoning, and the crispy edges were my favorite. Yummmm! We’ll be back for sure!”
