The front office staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the Inn and the town, gave us great recommendations and went the extra mile for us as far as accommodations. I stayed at Tarpon Inn for 2 nights this spring during SandFest, and I was traveling solo. I really loved the property and my room. So many beautiful historic details remain, but my room had just the right amount of modern touches. Of all the options for staying in Port Aransas the Tarpon Inn is definitely in our top three. It is a beautiful historical structure facing the water with a lovely upper and lower deck where you can enjoy some time to relax. There’s a courtyard in back which leads to the fantastic Roosevelt’s restaurant, as well as a separate cocktail lounge.
