Fried shrimp were good size with thick coating although very bland and the fries were just ordinary. There are less expensive( $32.00 for 6 shrimp) more flavorful options others places and atmosphere was lacking We will not return

Very underwhelming. Vegetables literally had no seasoning. Baked potato looked like it had been sitting for two days waiting for me at six at night. The pork chop was halfway decent but not very big and $42 I came here to spend money, but expected more work into the food than what I got, what a change from when I was here four years ago. We sat with our plates in front of us for over 20 minutes, waiting to pay a bill Some tables had come in, but for those prices, we should have enough waitstaff

This is a go to place for us at Port Aransas. Tonight was a bust. I think I forgot the crab cakes are mostly breading with really no sign of crab. At $28 for an appetizer of two bread crab cakes, this was a disappointment. The nightly special was red fish and other than salmon, the only fish on the menu as an entree. It was way past done. My wife's fried shrimp was excellent. We shared a salad and only drank tea and skipped desert. All of this for over $150 and paper napkins to boot. Service was excellent. Will be hard to go back.

We were seated quickly and a server came to take our drink order. She came back twice for our food order and we hadn’t even been served our drinks. We went ahead and ordered so she didn’t come back again. Another group next to us were seated and their server proceeded to tell them about all the specials. Very annoying. My Mahi mahi was overcooked, very dry, and tasteless. My husband’s Chicken Alfredo was also tasteless and the chicken was over cooked and dry. When we brought all this up to the server, she just stood there dumbfounded. Don’t waste your money and time on this restaurant especially when there are so many other good ones in Port A.

This restaurant did not disappoint. The food was deliciously fresh and the service was impeccable. If I go back to Port A, this will be my first stop for lunch or dinner. By the way, we had lunch on the first day we arrived and ended our last evening with dinner there.

Frankly, I expected a better meal for the price I paid. I ordered a seafood plate, which looked and tasted like fast food with a bunch of Frenchfries and deep-fried seafood. Fish, oysters, shrimp, and vegetables seemed fresh but lack flavor.

It wasn’t worth the price, I’m of course a chef de joure but it was average. Then the people in there were giving my family ugly looks, it was racist vibes and they didn’t act cool about having kids there. Okay, maybe don’t put it next to a bunch of vacation homes geeeeez

Over priced for what you get. Lobster bisque was delicious. Crab cakes not great for the money. Diablo pasta was good

We chose this restaurant based on recommendations from the place we were staying. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t particularly memorable either—just okay.

What really took away from the experience was the atmosphere and service. We opted to sit inside due to the overwhelming number of mosquitoes outdoors. Inside, the lighting was extremely dim and the space felt uncomfortably warm.

From the moment we walked in, the service felt off. The hostess didn’t greet us or acknowledge us with a simple “hello” or ask how many were in our party—we just stood there awkwardly until I spoke up.

Once seated, our server came quickly and took our order, which was appreciated. However, the major issue was that all of our drinks, including water, went completely dry throughout the meal. No one offered a refill or even checked in. Even after the manager made a round to our table and noted the empty glasses, saying refills were on the way, they never came.

While the restaurant was busy, it wasn’t so overwhelmed that basic service like drink refills should have been overlooked.

All in all, it was a very underwhelming experience. I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend it.

Messed up order, missed one persons order completely, had to be made after everyone else was served, 15 minutes later. One ribeye, ordered medium rare, came out well well done. Terrible, do not go there.

Hands down the best restaurant in Port Aransas. The food is absolutely exceptional. I am so happy that we were able to dine here without a reservation. They greeted us and treated us like royalty. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our server was super sweet. She was a young girl, I can’t remember her name but I think it started with a B and she was very tan! She was the best and provided us with A+++ service! It did take a while for us to get service (it’s a pretty small restaurant so understandable). Food and wine were good. They had white claw which makes it 5⭐️for me!!!

We loved our experience here! Be sure to call ahead for a reservation—it can get busy. The food was excellent, and we really appreciated the variety on the menu. Although there were a few entitled diners around, our waitress, Ella, was fantastic and went above and beyond to make our visit truly enjoyable.

Expensive for what you get. Although the food was good I thought paying $23 for 3 small Mai Mai street tacos was on the steep side. Keep in mind there was nothing else on the plate. Service was mediocre and the server didn’t seem enthusiastic to be there, rather aloof.
