Coffee Waves Port Aransas is a cheerful and welcoming cafe that serves the best coffee on the island, with an extensive menu and a spacious lounge area. Their drinks are awesome, and their gelato is scrumptious, with homemade options like pistachio and strawberry rhubarb that stand out. The staff manage the often-long lines with friendly attitudes, making it a rockstar experience. Customers have enjoyed the Iced Caramel Macchiato, which features perfectly balanced flavors, and the Vanilla Latte with cinnamon powder on top, where the espresso flavor is clear. The cafe offers a wide range of syrups and sauces to customize drinks, including unique options like marshmallow and cookie butter. Freshly baked pastries such as the Strawberry Rhubarb Muffin and Orange Poppy Seed Loaf Slice are highly recommended. The relaxed, beach-town vibe makes it a great place to unwind or grab something before heading back to the sand, even for visitors just passing through.
