this past weekend ( Aug 2nd) we took some family and a few friends and stopped by to get some ice cream. not only was there only 1 employee doing BOTH the scooping and the cash out, but the A/C was also acting up! with that said, let me tell you, we had the best time, the lady behind the counter was not only scooping her butt off, but she was so happy and nice and making jokes with us. there was a line out the door and not one time while we were there did we see her shut down,...
I had a great experience at Island Ice Cream!
On July 26 evening : The lady serving the cream was incredibly kind and dedicated—she served with a smile and made sure everything was just right. Excellent service and a lovely attitude. Highly recommend!

The ice cream is good, but they really need to be more conscious of allergens. They used the same scoop and wells for nut ice creams as for the nut-free ice creams, causing my friend with a nut allergy to not be able to get anything out of concern for their own health. Everything else was okay, but I would highly suggest having a separate scoop and well for nut flavors and nut-free flavors. My friend had to be left out due to the cross contamination :(
