If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. We’ve eaten seafood all over the Texas coast, and Trout Street Bar & Grill has officially set the bar. Nothing else we’ve had even comes close. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between coastal charm and an upscale dining experience, and the menu offers something for everyone without feeling overwhelming. What truly separates this place is the quality of the seafood. Knowing the fish is caught locally and often goes from the boat to the kitchen the very next day and then to your table..is something you can genuinely taste. Every bite was incredibly fresh and cooked perfectly. Great food is one thing, but pairing it with outstanding service, an inviting ambiance, and an obvious passion for quality makes for an unforgettable meal. Trout Street Bar & Grill is hands down the best seafood restaurant we’ve experienced on the Texas coast. We’ll be talking about this meal for a long time, and it’ll be our first stop every time we’re back in Port Aransas. Freaking amazing! Way to go, Trout Street Bar & Grill. Y’all absolutely nailed it.

The food wasn't very flavorful at all the meats where all overcooked ordered a stake medium rare and got it well done and if you would like to wait a hour for your food to be cooked and plated come to this restaurant.

The food was very good. The blackened Redfish with gumbo side is excellent

Dinner for two July 4th, 2026. No reservation, walked in and were immediately set at a two top bar top table. Waitress was sweet, very good at checking in on us and getting drink refills. We ordered the calamari and crab hush puppies. We were not fans of the calamari. It was big, think chunks, very bland and we asked for well done/crispy and they were certainly not. The hush puppies though were to die for, loved them!!! My husband had fried fish and shrimp, said the shrimp were amazing but the fish was just so-so. I had chicken fettuccini Alfredo, huge portion and delicious! I loved it! Overall, food, service atmosphere all was top notch! This wasn’t our first time here and it won’t be the last!

If you are tired of fried everything....try this place! The food was amazing tasting! My daughter had the lobster Mac and cheese! Tasting heavenly! We had fresh fish and lobster tail! Very tasty! The drinks were also super yum! Location is also beautiful, right on the water at the marina. Highly recommend

So the kitchen didn't have any tortillas for my shrimp tacos. But my man, David A came to the rescue and really did a great hookup! He really, really cared about us having a great experience. And he ensured that we were happy! David was enthusiastic and dedicated to our satisfaction! Ask for David, thank me later!!!!

Great place for food and drinks. Bartender Covar was so charming! A/C was blasting and it was nice. Exactly what we wanted.

Ordered the catch of the day maji maji and two side were mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. It was frozen maji maji that was put in the microwave with the mashed potatoes waiter told me it was a hot plate. The food was tasted terrible no flavor when it’s heated by microwave. The menu should be changed to frozen seafood instead of catch of the day and the cook or chef should go to a real culinary school or fire them. We will NEVER go there again.

Terrible customer service. Bad management and questionable food. Stay away!!!

The food I got was great, maybe a little bland but that’s okay. The service was not the best but that’s also because it was slammed and after closing. Overall not the best experience but that’s okay.

Very busy area. Wait was an hour and a half, which was about the same at any restaurant in PA at 7. Food was okay. Not great, but okay. This place and area is incredibly busy and roads can be congested with all the vehicles and golf carts. If you like crowds and okay seafood, you should be fine.

After our experience, I would not do business with or recommend this company ever again.

We went to the Trout Street Bar & Grill which is a restaurant but Google seems to think we were at a hotel. Not sure why seeing as the name says Bar & Grill...

The food was amazing, so were the drinks. I had the shrimp en brochette with blackened seasoning added to it. It was phenomenal. The service was on point. Our waitress stayed on top of our drinks, she was extremely polite and courteous. Hands down I would recommend!!!
