Some of the best seafood me and my friends have ever had. Highly recommend Cajun Redfish with gumbo, seafood pasta, and the cheese fries. Our server was dealing with difficult circumstances and pulled through with great service and food that was worth the wait. Will definitely come back!
Food was priced well for the amount of food on the plates. The food all tasted very good and our group of 9 had no complaints about that. The only real hiccup was one order was not heard correctly and therefore not ordered correctly. Also 2 plates were dropped in front of the wrong people at opposite sides of the table. Neither realized until halfway through the meal they were eating the other persons meal. That just shouldn't happen. Staff was all friendly.
We stumbled upon Trout Street by accident after being told by a neighboring restaurant that there was a two hour wait. We were pleasantly surprised to find that not only was Trout Street’s wait 30 minutes, we could wait at a shaded table on the back patio and listen to live music!
