We tried the brisket, the chicken and the ribs. These plates are very economical, and the food is good and portions are large. Great spot to pick up lunch.
Tried this place out on spur of the moment while in port Arthur . Gotta say like someone else posted nobody in parking lot, kinda threw me. 14 dollars I got two big ribs, three slices of brisket, pinto beans, potato salad and canned coke.the brisket is the most tenderest that i have had in a long time. The ribs were the same, beans and potato salad were good to with bread , pickles , onions on the side. This place is a win 👍👍
The best barbecue place in Port Arthur, me and my wife have visit here a few times now and the food is always delicious i rate this place 5⭐

Grangel BBQ serves good BBQ. The sliced brisket sandwich is really delicious with a tangy sauce and a little kick of spice. The potato salad is well balanced between crunchy and smooth. Brisket and chicken are tender with great flavor. The rice and pinto beans are also available as sides. Some customers find the mustard potato salad perfect, but others think it has too much mustard. The sausage is solid, cooked well, and full of flavor. The ribs are tender, but the smoke flavor can be intense. Customers appreciate the classic bread, onion, and pickle lineup. The combo plate with brisket, ribs, and chicken is a great option, and the empanadas are a good choice for dessert. Grangel BBQ offers great price for the amount of food, and the place is clean. The people there are awesome, and the meat is soft and falling off the bone. Overall, Grangel BBQ is a great place to try, and many customers will definitely be coming back with their family.
