People always take the time out to complain but never take the time when they have excellent service. So I have been to Mods quite a few time since it’s been open and I have not had all the best experience every time I went. You have some workers that are doing there job and some who just there to get a check. There is a young lady by the name of D’Mari who works at the Mods in Port Arthur and I have to say she is absolutely amazing. I’ve seen her work all over your establishment which is amazing to me cause that shows leadership and being a team player but what what Mods should know even when it’s busy she remains interpersonal, doesn’t get overwhelmed and has time management. I can honestly say the times where my pizza tasted the best she made it. I had just the right amount of toppings! I did not even have to tell her I need more or take some off she must have an eye for measuring. When she worked the oven my crust wasn’t burnt I didn’t have to send it back for being over or under cooked. Even the dough was perfect when I seen her on the bread maker. I don’t know what made D’Mari apply to work there but Mods please show her that you do appreciate her and what she brings to your establishment. D’Mari definitely needs a higher position, a raise or something. As someone in management when you have employees that go above and beyond as D’Mari does when shown appreciation you can almost bet your employee is going to keep doing what is asked and more. Kudos to you D’Mari keep up the superb work and I hope you read this.

I ordered the "Caspian" pizza ...BBQ, chicken, onion and I added pineapple. The chicken was tender and juicy, perfect with the cheesy sweet hot goodness of the other ingredients. The Asst. Manager (Captain) Chris was attentive, warm yet professional! Restaurant impeccably clean and oh yeah the music rocks!

I am writing this review on behalf of my mom who lives in Port Arthur. I live in Houston and we are very familiar with Mod Pizza. She could not wait for Mod to open. She gives the pizza 5 stars. She did a “build your own.” You can get as much toppings as you want without any extra charge. She gives the service 3 1/2 stars because she said no one acknowledged her standing there at the counter. It took the server a while before she even acknowledged her. She said the server was fixing a salad. Then when she completed that order, she acknowledged my mom. Customer service needs improvement definitely. Mod Pizza is healthier in a sense compared to the local chain pizza parlors.Vegetarian options: Plant based cheese and meat

The employee really need to move faster. It's like watching the guy swirling the tomato sauce in slow motion ? while the girl next to him is even more slower topping off what the customer wants on his pizza. For us we had to literally repeat 3 x's for our topping. I was getting annoyed. There were 15 ppl behind me waiting like whats taking so long. Pizza are good they just need to pick up the paste. Moving like a sloth. I thought Mod pizza is superfast.

I have been to MOD before, and I love it. This one was not good so far. EXTREMELY slow at getting pizzas out. There were about 7 employees working, but no one was helping each other, and at least half of them needed it. I will try this location again later when they get faster.

Just opened it seems the staff is learning but the pizza is some of the best MOD I’ve had in years. I don’t know if it’s the newness of the oven or what but it’s impressive. Only one complaint roast the roasted garlic a little longer.
