“Wow!!! Just Wow!! Place looked sketch!! But I’m am amazingly impressed with the flavor of this place… completely judged it based on the outside dark look, and it says bubbas bar and grill. But once we arrived, the waiter was amazingly friendly… and attended us with a very amazing Hispanic hospitality!! This is a family owned business!! It is a bar, but it is a place that has amazing …. And I mean amazing tacos!! I ate at many places in south padre, my favorite place by far from many high end and many places was this dark taco place… please try the gringas!! (With pastor!!) amazing! If I could give more stars I would… this place is extremely undervalued… overlooked. 5 stars for an authentic Mexican experience. Gracias a nuestro mesero, estuvo increíble esta experiencia. We had a DJ (female) that was amazing as well! Thank you for your attention.“

“Best hotel we have ever stayed at! They text you every single day to remind you of happy hour deals, they have amazing breakfast, the most helpful staff & housekeepers, their restaurant is yummyyy, they have such a beautiful boardwalk to the beach & a very convenient little shower to wash your feet off. I couldn’t recommend La Copa more. We stayed for 6 days and we are already home sick for SPI and our favorite hotel on the island. We will never book anywhere else!“

“I am from New Mexico, and We went to South Padre for vacation and for a wedding. We ordered delivery from this place to the motel. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak Sandwiches. They delivered it. The owner was very nice. The food was great. I highly recommend this place. We decided not to go to the place because it’s a cigar bar and we don’t like to be around smoke but we ordered delivery and since we were just down street From them, they delivered it. I recommend this place. Delicious food.“

“Very pleasant experience there. They just opened up their kitchen again last week, and had a few great vegan options! Kinda and courteous staff! Treated us very well, and food was SPICY!
Dietary restrictions: Good option for those on a plant based or vegetarian diet. Their kitchen will expand over time. Food is spicy!“

“We went to the On the Border South Padre Island location for a late dinner and had the fajita combination plate and protein bowl with a couple of margaritas. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was excellent! Our server, Julissa, was friendly and courteous!“

“The food here was awesome and the food portion was great, very reasonably.I recommend you get there early or set reservations if you can. Our wait time was 30 mins but was worth waiting. 9/10“

“Amazing place, beautiful heated pool, beach access and one of the most amazing views to the golf, they have a full restaurant and bar, their staff was so friendly, we noticed that you mainly need to speak Spanish and we ask for strong drinks, kind of pricey but they were really good, and worth the location and nice spot, we didn't tried food yet but we will try next time“
