2.99 for a fountain drink and 1.00 for each fountain refill yet they fill the cup to the very top with ice so there's less drink. Very little cheese on enchiladas and they didn't bring the beans for the plate and attempted to charge extra for bringing the beans on the side.

Went to eat breakfast there because I been there once before and food was good. Today we went in, waited 20 minutes to get a menu and no1 ever came to our table. So we decided to leave and have breakfast elsewhere. Do better.

I have eaten there many times with great experiences but this time service was terrible with wait staff. Food was cold we ended up getting sick from the food this time. Atmosphere was great and welcoming

About three months ago. We stop and visited downtown new to this area so we decided to stop and eat. I was very disappointed with a very simple order. My husband and I walked in. Cashier lady was busy helping someone, never said a word to us. Finally a young girl came and took us to the table. My chicken flautas: corn tortillas looked very brown( used old oil) flat instead of nice and round, chicken tasted very plain, rice was mushy, beans ok. My husband’s order was fine since he ordered shrimp a la diabla plate.

Excellent place I would definitely recommend if you want authentic local Tex-Mex right here near downtown Port Lavaca.

This place was ridiculous my mother in law wanted grilled shrimp plate and the waitress had the nerve to argue with her she need fired she never checked on our table she was rude to us she brought my fiancés food but give him the wrong one and then laughed and said you wanted fajitas right he replied yes like she knew she was wrong and brought him Burritos instead my burger was burnt to a crisp fries were freezing cold I’m a waitress myself and this was not the way you treat your customers at all she was rude oh and 2minutes it took her to get our order not worth the wait and money never again will I go there

Great breakfast food / I haven’t tried meals at other times of day yet but I will. Mom / Pop style restaurant. Tortillas are home made and everything I’ve tried from there is awesome.

Parking: Additional parking available around back. Parking in front along the street can be an issue.

We needed some takeout since I was between doctors' appointments. It was divine!! If I was a betting woman, I'd wager one of the best Mexican restaurants in Port Lavaca! The workers were all a joy and, like I said, the food was amazing. Highly recommend.
