We stopped into LaVaca BBQ based on seeing a shirt that sparked a conversation. The shirt said: Jesus, Texas, Brisket. ALERT: TOP TEN ENTRY FOR SAUSAGE NATIONWIDE. Our 91st 'cue stop in Texas and 381st nationwide brought us to one of the 2021 Texas Monthly Magazine top 50. What a worthy choice! $57.91 purchased a half pound of fatty brisket, which is very well smoked, exceptionally moist, and blessed with a superb pink ring and bark.
