“Yall! Peps has the best fajitas of any mexirestaurant I’ve been to in the area. I always get the fajita avocado salad, it’s my favorite menu item. I only have two suggestions, no comino in the rice (it doesn’t need it and it gives that weird after flavor you burp up for a few hours after eating it) and the beans need more flavor. Chop up some onion, tomato, cilantro and bacon or cueritos and they will be bomb. Other than that the food is ?“

“This place was great! Our server was friendly and on top of things. The atmosphere is nice and the low light gives it the traditional steakhouse feel. The food came out hot and was delicious, everyone at the table had to sample each other's meals.“

“Our experience at the roadhouse was simply amazing, from the moment you walk in, You're welcomed.The meat was on display in a case right when you walk in, we were able to select our own steaks, then we were seated ad shortly, we were joined by our waiter, Andreas, who was wonderful.He continued to return to the table, making sure we had everything that we wanted. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the sides were delicious as well. My wife had a cocktail and we sat and enjoyed an incredible meal. We did go on a Sunday and I must say, even though every seat seemed to have been taken, there was no delay in getting our food and everything came out just right.We highly recommend the Texas Roadhouse to anybody who wants to go to a real Texas Steakhouse in Corpus Christi Texas.“

“Finding the republic of Texas was quite easy. They even had complimentary vallet services upon arrival which was a great surprise. I came with no reservation, so I sat and waited 30 minutes for a table. I ordered a blueberry lemon drop martini while I waited and it almost tasted like candy, very good! I ordered the lump crab cakes right when I sat down and those took about 35 minutes to come out. I ordered my entree before the appetizer came out. From the time I sat down to get my entree took 1 hour & about 45 min. The waiter came to the table and told me there was confusion on who my actual server was and she apologized for the long wait and told me that my meal would complementary. I figured she just meant maybe 1 item in my meal. The service was nice and food was great, but I was yawning at the table it took sooooo long. I got the 8 oz filet and pototates a gratin. At the end of my meal, they were trying to close and I kept waiting on my ticket. It never came so I finally flagged down an employee and he told me that my meal had been taken care of since I waited so long. I would still give them a 5 star with service and food since they went ahead and compted my entire meal. Great hospitality and I would love to come back again, but maybe sit at the bar. The hostess was also so helpful and on my way out, also apologized. Great management and customer service.“
