WORTH. THE. DRIVE. The wines pictured taste like jam or preserves that have fermented and that's a good thing! Sweet and tasty, nothing bad to say! We sampled a few others, and even the dry wine was very sweet and tasty. The storefront is very simple, lots of real old country decor and knickknacks, windmill weights and antiques. Will be going back for sure!
Very cute rustic winery. Staff was very nice and if you like sweet wines this is place for you. Locally grown, operated and made in Poteet. Good prices too. Definitely worth a stop by.

I recently visited Poteet Winery, and I was absolutely blown away.The free wine tasting was a great way to learn about the different wines that the winery produces. The tasting room is small and intimate, which made it feel like a personal experience. The winemaker was very knowledgeable and passionate about her wines, and she took the time to explain each wine to us in detail.
