Total dive warning: You're either going to find good food in a place like this or terrible food. Fortunately, it's the former here at the bait shop. Order at the same register where you pay for gas and snacks. Hang out while your food is cooked to order. Burgers take just over 20 minutes since they are cooked from fresh ground, not frozen. We thought it was a darn good burger for a lakeside bait shop!
The cheeseburger and tots was 5 stars! If your looking for an old school classic burger, this is it! The melty American cheese, well seasoned patty, the just right veggies and crispy grilled bun combine to make a scrumptious treat. However, the friendliness, cleanliness and atmosphere could use an upgrade. Don't blink or you will miss this place. There really isn't a sign identifying it, just follow your gps or maps app and it will lead you there. I'll definitely venture back...read full review

The place has a new owner, Ahmed. But the real treat is having to deal with the cashier, Matthew. He is a bright spot in this currently dim world! Always friendly and glad to see you, the epitome of service with a smile. Helpful and quick, he gets the job done and goes onto the next customer. I actually look forward to stopping for ice and some snacks or lotto tickets. Retail will not be the same! Great job!
