We got there at 7:40 with 20 minutes left til close and all the lights were off inside. So everyone and they momma was eating in the dark in there looking around for a manager that was nowhere to be found. So we ordered anyways and as we were walking to sit down one of the younger cooks yelled “Lock the door!!!” The whole restaurant looked back at her. Then we got our food shortly after that and all 6 burgers were more salty than the cooks. They were so salty we couldn’t take more than one bite. Worst food and service experience I’ve ever had.

First and last time at Smash Burger!!!First, after paying almost 10 bucks per burger, we were expecting a BIG burger, similar to the ones showed on their website and menu on the wall. Our burgers were very small (kids' size), not much of anything on it, no sauce, no pickle, no tomato, no lettuce, and both the patties were burned (black)! The 2 burgers (Colorado and the other one we can't recall the name) were not good! And WAY over-priced. The French fries were OK, but nothing special about them, just generic frozen fries from Costco...Then, after we ordered, the cashier said it'd take 15 minutes to make our burgers and fries... We said OK, but we got our order 30 minutes later!!! Why so long, it's not like they are cooking a fancy filet mignon?... During that time, we had to clean out our table ourselves (the table was dirty), clean the seats (dirty too and way too small for the average adult Texan - they were also kid's size), get our drinks at a dirty fountain station, and we used the bathroom, which was also dirty with no soap and nothing to clean and wipe your hands.Again, we were expecting a lot more... very disappointed in Smash Burger Prosper! First and last time there...

If I want ketchup and mustard on my burger, I have to go to the unkept condiment station and put it on myself? Hunt down the ketchup and mustard bottles around the restaurant myself? Really? What a joke.The attitude from the female cashier was rude, zero gratitude. The gentleman up front was trying his best, nice kid and probably newer.Food was good. Without that lady cashier I probably give you a 4 stars. Remember, the prices aren’t just for the food, the value of the price is for the food, service and cleanliness.Visited 2/17/24 @ 1:30.

Food was good and the cashier was friendly. My complaint is that the lady that delivered our food was sweeping. She stopped sweeping and went to the food counter without washing her hands. Broom sticks are gross. To grab food and not wash hands first was unacceptable. Please teach your employees the proper food handling procedures. I know Texas requires employees to take a food handling course before working in the food industry. It clearly states that you must wash hands after sweeping or mopping.
