“This truly is a gem, especially for the Providence Village neighborhoods. I've been there countless times, trying virtually everything on the menu and never have been disappointed. I love the Korean flair that is sprinkled throughout the menu, with the Kimchi Burger as my favorite and go-to! My Korean wife also loves the kimchi burger but wishes there were some authentic Korean sides available too. Maybe someday...? The food is made to order and is always fresh. Did I mention the size of the burgers? Huge. I always need to cut them in half to eat or I'd be wearing the ingredients. Great food and great service make this our neighborhood, local burger joint.”

“I recently visited Pastelitos Hugo, located at 380 University Dr, and I have to say, the food did not disappoint! If you're looking to dive into some authentic Venezuelan flavors, this place is a must-try. Their pastelitos, tequeños, and empanadas are delicious, with perfectly crisp exteriors and flavorful fillings that take you on a culinary journey straight to Venezuela.

However, while the food truly shines, there is room for improvement in their customer service. The staff could be a bit more attentive and welcoming, as there were moments during my visit when I felt overlooked. A warmer approach to customers would enhance the overall dining experience.

That said, don't let the service stop you from visiting! The food is worth it. Whether you're familiar with Venezuelan cuisine or you're trying it for the first time, Pastelitos Hugo offers a great introduction to the country’s traditional dishes. I highly recommend trying their arepas and cachapas for a true taste of Venezuela.

With a few tweaks in service, this place could easily reach five stars. Definitely worth a visit for anyone eager to explore the rich and savory delights of Venezuelan street food!”

“My wife and I were searching all over to find a taqueria with barbacoa. We even considered driving 20 miles. Little did we know, right in our backyard, is Pollo Regio. It was clean, the staff friendly, ave some of the best barbacoa tacos I have ever had. Took me back to Sunday mornings as a kid. We will definitely be returning here!”

“This was a cool little find. We were treated like royalty by our server Rachel for being first-timers. The venue itself is cute with an outdoor patio in addition to indoor booths and tables. The French Onion Soup was very tasty and a bit different - topped with puff pastry rather than cheese, but the cheese was still nice and gooey inside the soup. My wife said her tenderloin salad was good. We both enjoyed her blackberry smash. We live in Garland so we won't get there often, but it will stay in our radar when we're in the area.”

“Stopped in for the first time last week needing pastries for a designer gig I had later in the day. Now, I can’t eat the yummies but dang they all smelled and looked wonderful. I ordered a mix of 8 muffins and croissants 🥐. Then ordered my Black tea and espresso. Pretty unusual request. Also wanted it over ice. The owner made it herself to make sure I got all my caffeine and a very cold beverage. (Shhh later I friend a nibble of a one of the pastries….. so good). I’ll forever be a customer. Thank you”

“Sushi Box is the best sushi place in town. Fast service and fresh food! Friendly staff as well. I highly recommand this place for everybody. Even if you don’t like raw fish, they have cooked sushi roll too.”

“Coco Shrimp is absolutely amazing from the food to the staff! I was having a rough day and lost my appetite and I couldn’t eat what I had ordered. Levon Juarez came to check on me and asked if there was anything wrong with the food and if everything was alright. He offered to take the food back to change it if something was wrong. When I told him I just wasn’t hungry, he made sure to pack my food up for me and checked if needed anything else and gave me a gift card which I felt so bad for because I was just having a bad day and nothing was wrong with the food. But thanks to him my bad day, became way better. He was incredibly kind and that’s just the behavior of Coco Shrimp employees. Totally worth checking out and the tacos are to die for! I always look forward to when I can go back.”

“My sister, Crystal, brought us some treats from The Cookie Society. I was able to sample a small piece of salted caramel, peach cobbler, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, and banana pudding. They were all very delicious. I especially enjoyed the oatmeal raisin (it's my favorite kind of cookie) and the peach cobbler. Each cookie was soft and chewy; some were filled with ooey, gooey goodness! I will definitely try them again.”
