This is a very large and well equipped rest area. I have stopped on the southbound side several times and it is always clean and well equipped. There is more than enough parking for cars and RVs and I'm sure the occasional 18 wheeler.
We stayed overnight here while moving cross country in 2019, while it is quite an active truck stop, it was a beautiful spot to rest for the evening. We were somewhat disappointed as we were enjoying the stargazing as we watched the stars come out, just as the overhead lights came on.We felt safe the whole time.

Really nice, spacious, well-lit and landscaped. This is one of those travel center type places that are state sponsored and geared towards facilitating tourism (not just your average rest area). Very clean inside and outside, safe and secure, covered picnic area pavilions and even has a playground. Family friendly and a great place to stop during the day or night whether you're a long haul trucker or just a casual traveler.
