We couldn't wait for this restaurant to reopen. We really enjoyed the old Medicine Mound Depot restaurant and hoped the food would be just as good. We weren't disappointed! The portions are huge and tasted very much like mom or grandma used to make. If you're wanting a commercialized taste in your food this is not the place for you. Upon stopping at the antique shop next door and going on their recommendation, we stopped here for lunch on our very long road trip to see several national parks. I agree with most reviewers; this looks like a hole in the wall and if you blink, you may miss it. Trying to find decent quality food on our way to Colorado. This place came up and decided to stop in. Do not judge based on exterior! The food was very good quality and excellently prepared. I had the beef fajitas and my husband had the Philly cheesesteak with the twisters (scratch made potato fries). Everyone that worked there was super sweet and waitress was wonderful! We talked about it for 30 minutes after we left and took the time to write a review..so just try it!
