Food was delicious! Hand battered, fresh, from scratch not frozen. Great stop. Plus they have street fighter 2 arcade.

We couldn't wait for this restaurant to reopen. We really enjoyed the old Medicine Mound Depot restaurant and hoped the food would be just as good. We weren't disappointed! The portions are huge and tasted very much like mom or grandma used to make. If you're wanting a commercialized taste in your food this is not the place for you. If you want a goodness to honest home cooked meal then The Old Train Station Depot is the place for you. Our waitress Bethany was attentive to our needs and took our orders without writing anything down. She was spot on and remembered who got what food.Parking: The parking lot is large and easy to get into and out of.

Upon stopping at the antique shop next door and going on their recommendation, we stopped here for lunch on our very long road trip to see several national parks. I agree with most reviewers; this looks like a hole in the wall and if you blink, you may miss it. The inside decor is nothing fancy, but the food, served on old school style camp ware plates , was very delicious! I got a cheeseburger which had a great flavor , pretty simple and to the point, and the fries remind me of an old school burger joint , soft and flavorful. My wife got a simple BLT on Texas toast and their "twisters" which is a twisted, spiraled homemade potato chip. Everyone around us, ordered a variety of food; the menu has steaks , fajitas, sandwiches....it all looked very fresh and good. Give it a try if passing through!

Trying to find decent quality food on our way to Colorado. This place came up and decided to stop in. Do not judge based on exterior! The food was very good quality and excellently prepared. I had the beef fajitas and my husband had the Philly cheesesteak with the twisters (scratch made potato fries). Everyone that worked there was super sweet and waitress was wonderful! We talked about it for 30 minutes after we left and took the time to write a review..so just try it!

The best steak I've had in awhile at a restaurant. Totally recommend this place. Everything was great. Service was awesome too. Great little grass areas for dogs.

Talk about a super good hole in the wall restaurant. Right off 287 before you get into a Quanah, oh my gosh you will enjoy the food here. My friend and I are on road trip heading out to Copper Breaks State Park. I had planned on stopping somewhere to get lunch after hiking around the park. Instead we choose to come beforehand and it was definitely worth it. I got the bacon chicken ranch sandwich and my buddy got their dry age for 21 days Philly cheesesteak sandwich. If I am out this way again definitely coming back here again.

I hate to leave a bad review, but I ordered grilled fish and it was so salty I sent it back. 2nd time it came out it was still SO salty. Even my husband couldn't eat it. I hope the owner reads this bc this would be an easy fix. Fish was hot and didn't smell fishy, would have been good if it was edible. Husband's fried chicken was really good. Daughter had tacos and they were extremely greasy, perhaps they should drain meat prior to placing on taco shell. Oh, and stay away from the terrible canned cheese queso.
