Red Oak wake up this is really good food. You all need to support this restaurant better. Breakfast all day πŸ˜‹. I drove in from Arlington for something else and stopped by to eat.

3 stars. Stopped in here for a quick lunch with our group of 11. The team was accommodating and set up a table for us. We were fortunate as the restaurant was not very busy.

Three ladies worked together to take care of our group. Chips and salsa were kept filled throughout the meal service. Drinks were topped off as well. Menu has a range of options to choose from with prices mostly in the $15 to $20 window.

I ordered enchiladas which were so-so. Rest of the table seemed to be enjoying their meals. At check out time, it was slightly frustrating as I had asked to see the itemized bill and also if auto gratuity had already been added. I was not provided either. Having waited tables earlier in life, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tipped 18%. The total bill came out right around $270 for 11 people.

If you’re looking for lunch and happen to be in the area, I would reconsider your options or at the least ask for an itemized bill.

Food was pretty good, service was okay and the atmosphere seemed rather dated. I'll definitely go again, but it's not the highest on my list.

Cancun’s in Red Oak is my go-to spot. The catfish dinner? Forget about itβ€”crispy, seasoned just right, and I swear it vanishes off my plate faster every time. The people here are what really seal the deal though. They’re always friendly, always on top of things, and they make you feel welcome the second you walk in. At this point, I’m basically on a first-name basis with my catfish. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out.
