Zucchs is a hidden gem in Red Oak, TX, known for good food, good service, and a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is very nice, accommodating, and attentive, making the restaurant feel personable, like eating at moms house. The food is delicious and outstanding. Popular menu items include Fried Zucchini, which is fire, and a Ceasar Salad where guests can build their own, with options like sautéed mushrooms in place of chicken. Burgers taste great with fresh vegetables and toasted buns. The pot roast is fork tender. Fried pickles are served as spears, which are juicier than chips. Zucchini bread is provided as a sample and is really good. The restaurant is handicap accessible. Salmon with one side is $25, which is overpriced in some opinions, and large groups are charged a separate 20% gratuity. Zucchs is one of the best restaurants in the Red Oak/ Waxahachie area, and they also own Eat Gravy in the same plaza.
