I come to sonias tex mex at least once or twice a month. Very delicious tacos and excellent service that i would choose over any other taco place any day of the week. Every time i come in she always remembers me and what my usual order is!!
We were passing by on the hwy at dinnertime, saw Sonia's ahead on the map, and stopped in on a hunch. As they say, follow your intuition - our asada tacos turned out to be fabulous, and so were the rice and frijoles. As an unexpected bonus, the taco plate came with a big jalapeño pepper, roasted to perfection. For all this, the wait was less than 10 min. We will definitely be back for a return visit next time we're on that route.

Rice was flavorless. If the refried beans didn't come out of a can, then they are canned refried beans recipe certified.
Asada rojo tacos are okay. Kinda dry tho. Three of them came with my taco plate. $13.99
Adobada tacos are okay. I ordered two on the side. And they also were kind of dry.
They both came with green salsa. I think that's your only option.
