I will start with my only complaint. The inside of the restaurant was uncomfortably warm. I don't know if the older restaurant A/C just needs an upgrade or if they have the thermostat set higher, but it was incredibly warm. Now onto the spectacular atmosphere and food. I was excited to get great food, but we were let down. For 2 people and a cost of $35, I expected a GREAT burger. After all, using shredded lettuce tells you the quality is okay. This is one and done for us. If you brag that you have great food, then make that happen. And serve bigger portions.
Cute little place that has been in business since1957. The burgers had a great charcoal flavor. We had the mushroom burger. The homemade Root Beer was delicious! The only thing is parking is limited . There are a couple tables outside. It is worth it! Will definitely be back to try the salmon burger and Philly cheesesteak and onion rings next. We had to get it to go and it was an hour long ride but it was still delicious!
