“So used to live in Hawaii for 8 years. The food here is pretty darn good. L&L is still the standard but Mo Bettah comes close.
They seemed to be understaffed but did their best to get our food out past. They were friendly and helpful
The food is great. Love the macaroni salad.
Recommendation: offer some short ribs.

“I have visited Dallas several times this year and have dined at this establishment on a few occasions, always promising myself that I would return—and I did today.
Once again, the meal was absolutely outstanding. Suzie, who was working behind the counter, was exceptionally kind and friendly. She provided us with an informative overview of the menu items, and it was evident that she possessed a wealth of knowledge, with over 70 years of experience in Hawaiian cuisine. Her expertise in barbecue was particularly impressive.
I ordered the Kahlúa pork with cabbage, accompanied by two side dishes: macaroni salad, which is consistently delicious, and a side of short ribs. For dessert, I enjoyed a rice butter cake. The meal was not only incredibly cost-effective but also featured generous portions fit for royalty. The exceptional service further enhanced the overall experience, making it a truly memorable meal.

“This gem doesn't get enough attention! The service is always quick and friendly. They've added several items to their menu including sushi and bento boxes. Their house salad dressing is everything and the prices are super reasonable. I recommend the teriyaki chicken bento box and the crab avocado tower. Miso soup is always good too.“
