La Cacerola Colombian Cuisine

I was so surprised to find this amazing pedacito de casa in Richardson. My husband (a gringo) surprised me by taking me to La Cacerola for dinner and celebrate Colombian Independence day. It was amazing, from the atmosphere to the warm smile of the owner. The food tasted like it had all the heart and Colombian flavor put into it. We enjoyed every bite. My husband ate everything in front of him, and even practiced his Spanish. We had the picada, chicharrón, and tamal. Todo estaba delicioso and the portions were big and satisfying. I can't wait to escape work and come have their lunch specials.

Always the service provided by the employees is great, the owner Always is there working very hard so you have a wonderful experience, the food is very good and a lot , they have mix drinks and beers, the fruit juices is wonderful, we coming back very soon

This is the most authentic and delicious Colombian food we have eaten besides miami, Fl. We live in MN but we were visiting and decided to check this restaurant. We ordered bandeja paisa, beef empanadas, morcilla plus the kids meals and everything was so good! Bonus plus for good customer service and being welcoming and accommodating to our daughter who is in a wheelchair!

The food was ok, but the service was terrible. I placed a to go order and the pandebonos were over cooked. Why would you send your customer home with an item you knew was burned? I’m disappointed. I won’t be back.

We had a great experience at La Cacerola! The food was delicious and tasted very authentic. The portions were huge, so you definitely get a lot for your money. Our food came out quickly, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit.
The menu has plenty of options to choose from, there was ample parking, and we were seated immediately without having to wait. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

The food is incredible—absolutely delicious, and the portions are generous. I honestly have nothing to complain about when it comes to the food. However, the customer service is a different story. The owners serve customers themselves, and in my personal experience, they came across as somewhat arrogant and condescending, not only toward customers but also toward their own employees. It’s unfortunate because the food is excellent, but the overall experience is affected by the way people are treated.

As a Colombian it was one of my favorite restaurants the food was good the service not so bad, it's been a long time since I went yesterday I returned with my husband and a friend we ordered a picada for two, two waters and a mojito, when we ordered the bill was 99.26, the waiter asked if I wanted my receipt and I said yes and when checking they had included the 18% at the end of the receipt it says it is for five people or more. I tell the waiter that because he included it if there are three of us and he tells me that after 9:30 pm it is also included. Something absurd then also a charge of 3.5% I asked the waiter and he tells me that it is for the use of the card when that must be paid by the establishment. It will be the last time I go to this place. Cane emphasize that the waiter approached the table twice in the time we were there and the place was not occupied so as not to be pending

The Bandeja paisa was delicious, but the the food took very long to be served. Appetizers weren't served until that and the entrees were ready. It took more than an hour until any food was served.

Came to this restaurant with my father and uncle to watch the Colombia vs. DR Congo game and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious. ¡La Bandeja Paisa que tienen es muy rica! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to taste delicious Colombian cuisine and have a good time watching La Sele!
