“A definition of a hole in a wall spot with a great food. The best way I’d describe it is “home cooked.” The owner is this nice Persian gentleman, who will make you feel like home, take your order and bring out the food almost immediately. I really enjoyed the lamb shank, the meat was tender and falling off the bone.
Note that you have to park in the fenced out parking lot, look for signs that mark “Samad Cafe parking” that are hanging on the fence. It took me a couple of spins around the block to figure it out, but it was well worth it.“

“If you’re looking for authentic Persian food and feeling a little adventurous, definitely check out Rose Mediterranean Cuisine!
We tried their Kaleh Pacheh (sheep’s head and feet), and it was delicious. They only serve it on Sunday mornings from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, so make sure to call ahead and reserve your spot. It also helps the chef know how much to prepare for the day.
The food was great, the service was excellent, and the place has a really nice, cozy atmosphere.
Even if Kaleh Pacheh isn’t your thing, they have plenty of other options like kebabs and other Persian dishes. Definitely a place worth trying!“
