Best hot chicken sandwich in Dallas, hands down. Big piece of chicken, loaded sandwich with really nice ingredients. The birds nest feeds 2-3 from its sheer size. I love the flight when we go as a group because it definitely rewards fake bravery if they get the hottest! Pudding and the cheese curds are fire.The line out the door speaks for itself.
Ricky's has truly raised the standard for halal hot chicken. I've had the pleasure of meeting Ricky and his brother, and they're absolutely fantastic! Every item on the menu is a winner – you can't go wrong with anything you choose! I wholeheartedly recommend it, a solid 10/10

The food is absolutely delicious and actually spicy. I used to think I could handle my spice but Rickys is on another level ! I've often gone with Medium if you want something spicy yet comfortable to eat and enjoy. If youre feeling a little risky then definitely go for Hot , some days I'm able to tolerate it other days it quite literally makes my eyes tear up but it's still delicious. The cashiers however always seemed irritated with you no matter what time of day you go in.The place is really small there's no designated area to wait for your food so most of the time the line to order is blurred by the people waiting for their order , at most you can only sit 4 groups so it does get crowded easily , We mostly opt out for ordering To Go since its easier.
I was under the impression they were hand-cut halal. I ate there twice under this impression and I was blown away by the taste. Then I found out they didn’t carry hand-cut and haven’t gone since :(Edit 3/17 - Read the manager's response and I think it's totally fair. Will give them what they deserve, based on the food I had originally. I also apologize for my initial remarks, you are doing the Muslim community a favor by trying to cater to us, and we appreciate it. Maybe in the future, whatever is blocking hand-cut chicken from coming through can be unblocked. Thanks.

Went today for the first time. The line moved quickly and we got our food fast. This might be the best Nashville hot chicken I’ve tried. I had the birds nest - medium heat - and it was a ton of food. Perfect ratio of chicken, fries, and toppings. I did order extra sauce just in case but didn’t need it. Pair it with ranch for even more flavor. The medium heat had a good zing to it. If you’re sensitive to heat, stick with the first or second level. The seating area is very small, so if you prefer more space, get it to go. Not a complaint, just a heads up. Overall a great experience.

The chicken tenders and the bird's nest salad are awesome. I like really spicy food and the Xtra hot chicken tenders are spicy with a great flavor. I also get an A-Bomb tender because I like pain apparently. The best hot chicken in DFW.

Really good and a bit on the spicy side so be careful. In terms of flavor Ricky's is very similar to other Nashville hot chicken places around. With that said, I appreciate that they have options other than chicken fingers so I'll definitely be back to try the bone-in chicken. Delicious!
