Great first visit! Alex was so friendly and helpful! We were also very impressed he could speak multiple languages. The broth was great and food was fresh. Would come back.

I’m here first time the server is so good attitude, I am willing to give 25% tip even though other restaurants usually I give 20%. They will remind you last order more food but i can indeed do 6 dish of meat only and full, the second round of meat is good quality as the first round. You come here you will feel happy, full and satisfied with a lovely dessert the server brings you. Come early and eat slowly, enjoy the vibe!

I’ve been to the Shoo Loong Kan Hotpot in Richardson twice now, and it’s been great both times. The tomato soup base is rich and flavorful, definitely my favorite! The meat is fresh and tasty, and the service is pretty good. I also like that they serve ice cream at the end, which is a nice touch. The sauce bar has plenty of options too. Overall, a solid experience. The price for two people is on the higher side, but still reasonable for the quality you get.

The mala soup and a tomyum soup here is the best ever. I try so many new places just open in DFW but only Shoo long kan soup make a good taste and their meat very fresh. Should try their tiger shrimp!!!

I'm officially obsessed with the hot pot here. The Tom Yum soup base is incredibly delicious, and it pairs perfectly with premium ingredients like the juicy tiger shrimp and tender fatty beef. Adding taro, seafood mushrooms, and Napa cabbage made it even better! The service is top-notch, the place is spotless, and it's a great spot to share a fun meal with friends or family.

Review from my 12 year old son:
It started well with lots of parking and easy access. There was also this cute character displayed a few times on the left wall. When you get to your table, there is an iPad so you can order at your own pace. The food was really good and it was so cool to see the meat cook in the boiling hot broth. There were also lots of vegetables. The waiter gifted us a bottle opener dragon that said in Chinese letters “Good Luck”. The waiter also helped me open my coconut milk and packed to go boxes for the meat and veggies we did not finish. This was overall an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this.

Wow. Do I have a lot to say.

Let’s start off with the amazing experience of walking in. I came in with my two girls, after a long day of running back and fourth from classes, and we really needed some TLC. Right away we were greeted by some of the most enthusiastic staff possible, happy we were here, clapping for us- the whole works. Then, there was Jerry.

Jerry is the most kindhearted soul that has EVER served me in my years of going to nice restaurants, and fine establishments. He helped the girls out with using chopsticks, came to us every moment he could to make sure we were accommodated, and most importantly, was incredibly humble. The entire time he brought food, checked in, he was making sure that we were as comfortable as could be. At the end of the service, we decided to give him an amazing tip for how sweet, and generous he was. He almost didn’t accept it! The point is, Jerry deserves the world.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was indeed quite beautiful, the booths were incredibly clean, and the plates were spotless- not to mention the incredible beef, condiments, etc. And the Hagen Daz!

Came here because we saw the AYCE deal for $19.99 per person online. Everything was good, similar to Hai Di Lao (Our most similar experience to this), multiple broth options, tablet ordering, sauce bar, a plethora of choices, and an awesome experience!
