My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here. I had made a reservation in advance, noting a special occasion and seating preference. We were greeted and wished a Happy Anniversary by the Hostess and they remembered my seating request. Our waitress Dana, greeted us and she knew it was our anniversary. Texas is a good local restaurant. The service is top notch and the atmosphere is fun and friendly. As for the food, they miss the mark. The appetizers are great and the meats are excellent. We ordered a filet and the pork chop which were both wonderful. However the soup and sides are bland. The texas taters were undercooked, the mashed potatoes were dry.
