My wife and I went there for Thanksgiving. We were seated at 11:15 . Reserved at 11:30. Perfect. After going through the buffet line and had begun to eat, I asked the waiter that I'd like to get an order to go for my 77 year old blind veteran friend. He said " we"re not going to do that". I thought that was an odd temark but left it at that. I told my wife we could go to lubys . Did that, but the line was out in the parking lot. Ended up waiting 30 minutes...

The pot roast, mashed potatoes, corn, and cornbread were very
delicious!! They never disappoint with this dish!
The place started getting full by 6:30pm. I only saw 2 young men that were waiting tables. The service was a bit slow, but they were very friendly!

We ordered via door dash. Food was delicious! Still warm, well prepared. We had 2 veggie plates. Total of 8 diff vegetables: baked squash, red beans and rice, broccoli, carrots, fried okra, sweet potato casserole, cole slaw, mashed potatoes w white gravy. Every dish was perfect. Very healthy and delicious meal. Nothing was swimming in bacon and grease, thank goodness, so refreshing. Evidently,our door dasher failed to keep our food containers from tipping over so our food arrived...
