So I ordered 2 doozie cookies with the cream in the middle. The outside of the cookie was good. Once I bit into the middle of the cookie it didn’t taste right to me. I ripped the cookie apart and found that my cookie was NOT cooked all the way. Uncooked cookie dough. NEVER again will I order from this place again. I would post a pic of my cookie but I can’t seem to find the way to do so.

Seems that this location has new owners, not only have prices increased and quantity decreased, but so has the quality of customer service. The cookies are small and I came back after seeing them redecorate an unused cookie cake to sell as individual pieces, no gloves were worn. The final straw was the owner being rude to my Mom, we won't be back!

Customer service was great. I had an issue and they quickly fixed it. Unfortunately, the quality of the cakes has gone significantly downhill.

My husband LOVES getting a cookie cake for his birthday. He’s gotten a cookie cake from Great American for likely two decades. Every year, I order one and every year it’s the same until this year. The cookie cake is SO THIN that you cannot even pick it up. You have to scrape the cardboard to even get some of it up. This cookie cake has to be half the thickness of all the others we’ve had, if not less. Unfortunately it was extremely disappointing and we likely won’t be getting a cookie cake for his birthday next year.

Needed a cookie cake last minute and they were able to accommodate! We only waited less than 10 minutes and they gave us many options for colors and cake decor.

I have been coming here since day one and Sana and Iqra we’re very nice employees to me and they’re amazing!!

Drove 20 mins away for the door to be locked 30 minutes before closing time and to stand outside and be blatantly ignored. I do not recommend this location.

I can definitely see why this location is at 3.4 stars. I should have looked before I went. The service was definitely poor. Joseline was rude, person that made the ice cream had poor communication. Customer service is simple. This location needs to do better!

horrible hospitality

I’m writing to express my disappointment with an experience I had at your Richmond location on May 5, 2025. I drove all the way from Stafford specifically to purchase your strawberry cookies despite the rude customer service at times, I come here just for the cookies. Which I’ve found are only consistently available at this location. Trust me I’ve looked at the surrounding locations around me and NONE of them have it. Unfortunately when I arrived minutes before your posted closing time—the store was already closed. The doors locked, floors mopped, and no explanation was posted. The female employee had headhphones on and saw me. She was cleaning out the ice cream section. Who knows how early she had already locked the door to start closing tasks. This was not only frustrating but also a waste of my time and gas. I hope you’ll address this issue with your staff and ensure that store hours are honored moving forward, so I don’t make the trip in vain again.

Closes earlier than closes time! Arrived before closing time and saw everything put away.
