Went on a random Saturday. No one was there besides my 2 friends and another couple. Took a whole hour for our food to be ready. Everything tasted fresh so I'm guessing that's why it took longer. Food was nonetheless good.

This is my first time at this restaurant, where I ordered a fried chicken dinner and was presented with chicken wings. That was low of the owners and the staff for not explaining that a dinner meal on the menu is not as appeared/ stated. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Happen to be in the area in Richmond and ran across this restaurant. I ordered the penne pasta with oxtail .. The best item I have ever eaten anywhere.The pasta was cooked to perfection. There was so much meat on the bones. Employee mentioned there was about a pound of meat. Gravy was in the mix along with carrots and onions bell peppers.Needless to say the order was enough for 2/3 people. Then I got a side of fried okra. Delicious and crispy.The only problem I see there is parking if it gets busy. Unless there is more in the back. When I am in the area again I will return

I don’t mind spending money on food but I ordered the Jerk Chicken and Rice & Peas and the Jerk chicken tasted like barbecue chicken. They gave me one leg and 3 small pieces of chicken. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here. Anyone that thinks this food is good doesn’t know what good food is.

THE FLAVOR IS BOMB!! ?This was my first time eating at this restaurant. They were kind and friendly with quick service. Try the caribbean dream ? lemonade it is amazing!!the rasta pasta with oxtail will make your mouth water its tender and has a bit of spice . I will be coming back!

I came here looking for Jamaican food and left disappointed. Not only were they out of curry goat, but we were told that there was only 1 serving left of rice & peas. I found out that their version of rice and peas is more like red beans & rice. Huge let down. The jerk chicken was mediocre and it came with a side of some type of bbq sauce. Never had bbq sauce on my jerk chicken in Jamaica. Oxtails were decent, but without real rice and peas, they weren't very satisfying. They do have large portions, but I'd rather have small portions of good food than large portions of disappointment. Maybe their creole food is better. Guess I'll never know. I guess I'll cook Jamaican food at home next time because I won't come back here.

We always enjoy any dish we try from here. The food is very flavorful. This location is more of a to go place but you are able to eat the food there there if you want to. The chicken wings are amazing, the pastas, the lamb chops, jerk chicken and they also have oxtails. It’s so hard to choose what to order. The Mardi Gras pasta is one of my go to favorites. My kids love the Cajun chicken pasta and the Mac and Cheese. They also have a wide selection of teas and lemonades.
Called today to inquire about Rasta pasta and the Oxtail dinner. The lady who answered has 'Zero' people skills, poor phone manners and when I mentioned that I was going to support her business had it not been for such a poor experience, she simply hung up the phone and was unapologetic about her behavior. She sounds like she's of age and stuck in her ways and cares less about changing. I'm all about supporting small businesses, especially small black businesses, but this restaurant will never see any of my hard earned $$$ and with customer service like this, this restaurant will not last long.

Small Roach found ALIVE and CRAWLING in my daughter’s food. The food was ordered via Door DASH . Of course, I called the restaurant and they could not reimburse because I ordered from door dash. I had to throw out the food. Door dash only reimbursed 20% of the meal. Don’t order from this place and don’t order from door dash unless you know the food is safe to eat!! Completely Disgusted!!

We ordered the food and went to pick it up. Maybe it was because the lady that was working was by herself but she had a standoffish attitude to everyone that came in. The food was a little salty to me. We love Jamaican food and eat it from several other places. It was also to me a little more expensive than what we're used to paying for a period I follow them on Instagram and always wanted to try the food. It had a great Vibe though. It looks like it may turn into a club at night which I would definitely not mind coming back to. Definitely had a great Caribbean Jamaican vibe. Have also been to the other location and although it's the smaller of the two the service was so much better and they offered a drink which made me end up buying 4.
