Horrible horrible horrible service! Do not go here . My husbands order came on time and correct. My son's order came 30 mins later after begging for at least his food since he was hungry but the order was wrong and the noodles were so over cooked they were slimy and just falling apart. My food never came, so I just cancelled it BUT SHE STILL TRIED CHARGING US FOR IT. Lol it's so bad it's funny. Then to top it off I tried going inside ( we were sitting on the patio) and she snaps at me asking what I needed and why I was going inside. I'm sure she was afraid that I was going to say something to her manager , but I was just going to the restroom. Oh and the restrooms leaks from the bottom when you flush so you're grossly standing in a mini puddle. I wish I could give this negative stars or none at all !!

In town for a corporate meeting and had takeout from here. Order the 6oz Chicken Hibachi with fried rice and miso soup. The food was ready in 15 minutes and was very good. My only complaint is that there should have been more vegetables in the meal. Otherwise. I would go back and hear again.

So, I swung by Fosters recently from my hometown, and it was kinda mid, you know? The service was chill, though - super friendly vibes. But, like, $30 for the food? Not worth it. It didn't hit the mark, tbh. The place itself was okay, nothing really popping. Overall, it's an average spot. Service gets a thumbs up, but the food? Mid af

Foster's was a fantastic restaurant to have a date night during Lent. There wasn't anything that we ate that wasn't delicious. The shrimp and vegetable tempura was perfectly cooked with the right amount of crispy batter. The hot sake complemented all of our sushi. The Ahi Tuna Tower was magnificent, the Crispy California Roll was amazing, and the two additional rolls we had were fantastic. Extra attention was given to all special requests to our orders. There wasn't anything we didn't enjoy during our dining experience. We would certainly come back in a heartbeat. If there was a negative experience it was that wasabi was not provided; it had to be requested.Vegetarian options: It is a sushi restaurant so you know that there will be plenty of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Great options if you are looking for vegetarian dishes.Parking: Plenty of free parking available if you come early enough in the evening.Kid-friendliness: While there is a children's menu, it may not be the best idea to bring young children here to explore beyond the boundaries of what they may typically eat.Wheelchair accessibility: There seemed to be room enough for wheelchair seating. It may be tight in some circumstances. There is not a wheelchair accessible entrance, however.

I took my team out to thank them for doing an awesome job. One of my coworkers did some research on best restaurants near our office and found Foster's. We were craving some sushi and Asian food. One of my coworkers got crazy roll and steak hamachi. Another coworker got shrimp hamachi. I got sushi and sashimi bento and yellowtail roll. We all loved our food! The restaurant was super clean, the staff were super attentive, and the food was super tasty! We're definitely planning our next lunch at Foster's so we can try more dishes.

Fosters has great food although it is a little overpriced in my opinion. Ambiance is casual and service has been great. My coworkers and I would visit at least once a month, (a group of 12-15) but the happy hour menu has changed to only $1.50 off selected rolls/sushi , which is not really much of a happy hour. Unfortunately we have to find a new place for happy hour, but If they bring it back sometime we will all be happy to return.

Fast, friends and absolutely delicious. Best kimchi dumplings I have ever had. The restaurant was clean, and the music was nice.

Sushi was good. The ramen options are very filling. The highlight was the plethora of interesting and unusual sushi options. Overall, wasn't bad though I can't think of any particular highlight for the location. Decent choice for sushi and sashimi.

Good food, good vibe, good customer service. We had a crunchy Hot Kiss Roll (8pcs) and Spicy Tuna Roll. Both items were delicious. Also, had a warm clear soup after a meal, which was perfect for the cold day.

I’m giving this a 5 star review only because of a lovely young woman named Fiona. Everytime I go to Foster’s I’m always greeted with a smile and kindness that brightens up my day. I’m always amazed by the sushi that she recommends, and the cocktails that she makes. Great people skills, and wonderful customer service that keeps me coming back for more. Thank you for being such a great waitress!

Amazing service and delicious rolls. Highly recommend the tornado roll. We really loved the poke nachos but could use more poke.

A great little sushi restaurant on restaurant row in downtown Roanoke. The service and food were great. I’m adding it to my “eat there, again!” list.
