11/8 two days later I've been contacted by management. Upgraded to 3 star for now.
I can tell the kitchen manager and GM haven't tasted their least favorite menu items in a while. I noticed a hands off approach to service in general. If the manager emails me and offers any resolution whatsoever I'll change this to at least a 4 star until I come back.
My experience in this industry is hard to match.

Have enjoyed business and casual lunches here for several years now. Today, Jaycee took care of my lunch mate and I perfectly. Their burger and fries were quite tasty and my usual blackened chicken salad with sesame vinaigrette always a steady choice.
"Different" The wings have a different flavor, the girl who served us! Will she be the owner? Very very kind, he earned the tip that we leave him, I don't get paid for this but "go" to eat wings Jack & Grill and really enjoy a "different" meal.

Perfect local sports bar. The food is always tasty and consistent. The servers, bartenders, and managers treat you like family. We are frequent guests and will continue to enjoy and support all of Jack's restaurants in Roanoke!
I recently visited Jack and Grill in Roanoke, Texas, and while the food was decent, the overall experience was frustrating. Our server was excellent—friendly, attentive, and did everything she could to make things right. Unfortunately, the manager was a different story.
When it came time to pay, their system ran my card four times, showing multiple pending charges. The manager initially claimed it was *my* fault, which was incredibly off-putting. He even said he would take the wings off the bill "for the drama" but later decided to charge us for 24 wings when we only got 12! The server had to re-ring the order because of an issue with the first one, and somehow, the check included both the remake and the wings they took back to the kitchen.
I even offered to open our to-go box to show that we only received 12 wings, which was all I was willing to pay for. The manager then shifted from saying the issue was “drama” we caused to claiming it was now a system problem. The whole ordeal was confusing and unnecessary.
While the server was fantastic and tried her best to smooth things over, the manager’s behavior and poor handling of the situation left a bad taste in our mouths. Hopefully, they can get their system and management issues sorted out soon.

My wife and I have been coming to J & G for about 6 years or so and for a while we really enjoyed everything but over time and especially late it seems the food quality has gone down. The last 3 times we come the food has been been just OK. I don't think we will be back. I don't like paying $15 to $20 for average food.

They get orders totally wrong and blame the patron, waitress rolled her eyes. Then don't even include what's supposed to come on their burgers. Reubens are way too greasy with hardly any meat or kraut. Better food and service at Arby's 🤣🤣🤣

Sweet little sports bar/grill, large on tap craft beer selection, food is good, portions are large and prices are on point. Nothing fancy but I’ll definitely make the drive from Bridgeport to patronize the spot. Service was great as always, very consistent.
