The po boy/seafood platter window has great fried shrimp and oysters at reasonable prices. Not New Orleans french bread (where else is?), but the Po Boy bun was fresh and the the sandwich was nicely dressed. The reason for only 4 stars were the fries, which seemed a little undercooked. Could benefit from two step frying method w/Maillard reaction browning. For all the grousing though, will definitely be back!

Cajun boy who loves Rockport/Fulton. I am SO HAPPY that Alby's once again has Poboys! Let's keep it real- running a seafood place is hard! Finding good help is hard! Prices are up, up, up! Here's the bottom line. 1) Alby's will be my first stop on trips to RPF to get my seafood fix. 2) Stop using the boxed Fish Fry. Too salty! Mix your own 50/50 flour/cornmeal with salt and pepper. Trust me. Shortcuts lead to short lived. 4 stars only because they used boxed seasoning that tasted like Louisiana Fish Fry from HEB. Thank you again for bringing po-boys back. Once y'all get the batter right, 5-stars!

Oysters from Alby's Seafood were outstanding. Plump, delicious, and very fresh. I highly recommend the oysters. HOWEVER, there were stuffed crabs in the store freezer. DO NOT waste your money. This product has imitation crab in it for a premium price, and taste like a commercial product. So, YES TO OYSTERS and NO TO STUFFED CRAB.
